We just need continuity and practice time. You saw that in the first half against both Denver and New Orleans our defense was superb. What we also need to do is recover from the China trip. I think it is effecting us more than we realize. As we have all witnessed, second halves have been our problem and the China trip is effecting our fatigue when going down the stretch. This really explains the sudden lapses in certain stretches of games. These things can and will be corrected soon enough.
Another thing thing that needs to be addressed is Chuck Hayes getting too much playing time. Hayes has no business on the court unless there is an injury or a low post player is going off on us. Hill, Patterson, and even Jeffries should be on the floor before him. This is no knock on Chuck because I defend the hell out of him at the barber shop so i am by no means a hater. He is just a specialist, not a rotation player. When he quits seeing extended minutes we will extend a winning streak.
