 I see this as very possible if Morey decides to try to salvage this mess over the rebuilding option. IF they decide to completely rebuild (which I’m totally ok with) I don’t see it taking as long as most franchises because Morey has a lot that other teams want and he obviously knows how to pinch that penny into 2 pennies. So whether it’s expiring contracts, solid role players, high upside youth or a couple draft picks that we have left, a rebuild turnaround won’t be as brutal as say the Clips or GS has had.

 But, say Morey believes he can fix this and Les gives him the go, why can’t we trade what was mentioned above? I see all this inter-turmoil within other teams as something we could potentially take advantage of, which I’m sure other teams are thinking the same thing as well. The Magic just did it and they already had a great team. They saw a team that didn't want one of their most talented players and Orlando decided they could get rid of their own overpaid & older player. Granted that Gilbert is overpaid but he probably has a much higher upside than Lewis had based on age and a hopeful maturity and since they got Turk, it was easier to move Lewis. So why shouldn't we take advantage of what’s going on out in Charlotte? However you want to do it, we can give players to Charlotte that won’t, in return, be detrimental to our starting lineup, especially with Lowry playing awesome of late and which makes life a lot easier with 2 capable starting PG’s, and one can be traded away for value in return. Like someone said on their post before me, Wallace brings defense, toughness and athleticism that we desperately need at the SF.

 And yes we need another C and that’s why I brought up Marc Gasol. I have no reason to base this on but if I were Marc, I would much rather play with an equally talented team (however you want to argue that is fine with me cuz Houston and Memphis both are made up of solid role players needing a star) in a bigger city and with a better coach, GM and fan base for national and international players. And we might be able to pay Marc more considering they just overpaid Gay and who knows what they do with Randolf’s expiring contract. Speaking of Zach, I would hate to play alongside that cancer. Marc’s stat line would be amazing if it wasn't for that fat ass taking all the easy buckets, rebounds and getting in the way of blocking shots (Yes I have Marc on my fantasy team and he did awesome while Zach was out). If Morey could pull this off, that would be one of the best starting 5 in the NBA and we would still have an average bench depending on who we give up for Wallace. No star player that most teams need for a ring but Detroit did it years ago. And with a good coach it’s definitely possible to pull it off. So does anyone else see this as a very real option for Morey to consider or am i just being stupidly hopeful?
