Life has been incredible the past 4 days. My baby boy, Makai Anthony Rock, was born December 17th, 2010 and he's beautiful and healthy like his mom. It also happens to be the day that brought a little winning streak. Hopefully it continues on, and we can pick up strong momentum.
What makes this even more beautiful is that my in-laws and my wife are the biggest L.A. Laker fans in the world. The entire time they kept telling me about their Laker onesy that their granddaughter used to wear, and how they want the baby to wear it. I made it a point to pack my Rockets warm-up to the hospital to make sure that baby boy was properly baptized in Rocket pride as soon as he arrived, and it appears to work. I made it a point to take him and hold him closely in my Rockets warm-up sweatshirt immediately. The funny thing is that my in-laws were the ones who purchased that sweatshirt for me for Christmas.
