Make sure to turn your radios to 1560AM from 1-3pm
Big day in Rockets land today.
And Lee will again be on the air with 1560AM to discuss - among other things - the Kevin Martin trade, where Carl Landry might be able to find a good dentist in Sacramento, which fanbase Tracy McGrady will be pissing off next, and whether or not the Rockets can steal another draft pick or two from the Knicks.
1-3pm today. 1560AM The Game.

fair enough
When we post times here, it’s always U.S. Central time as we consider Houston to be the epicenter of everything. We are arrogant like that. ;-)
Wow, Morey for the win!

Taking on Jefferies for 2010 and 2011, hurts but could be worse.
Well done, sir.

Rockets win the trade bazaar
Marvelous wheeling and dealing. I can only assume the Kings decided not to take on Jefferies (and thus receive draft considerations) based on a desire to preserve cap space for the offseason market. Kings are running the risk of getting a 1 year rental of Landry for Martin; Rockets get a dynamite SG for three years at reasonable pay, plus Hill, plus a #1 pick by a team who could just as well suck in 2011 as they do now (no reason to assume NYC will win the free agent market).
exactly.
we should be able to move jefferies next year i imagine. but a high pick this year and maybe next year also. wow! morey does it again

Details on picks
https://twitter.com/chadfordinsider
Knicks pick in 2011 is Top 1 protected. In 2012 the Knicks pick is Top 5 protected.
Morey is the man.
Yet another source with knowledge of the talks disputed that account, telling ESPN.com that the Suns initiated the conversation by asking for Battier, Scola and draft considerations, which Houston refused.
I’m hoping this is what really happened.
