"Rockets to complete Brian Cook buyout tomorrow. Will bring back Garrett Temple for a second 10-day to play backup point, source said. "
He had some pretty productive garbage time his last few outings. I think my last memory of him will be the dunk he had at the end of the Memphis Grizzles game... so much potential!!

Brian Cook can now get on with being an architect, quantity surveyor, lawyer or whatever it is he wants to be.

He should consider marketing kitchen products
you know, using his last name and his “celebrity” status to market cookware. The new Brian microwave: Keeps food warm like I did the Rocket’s bench and cools off immediately when coming out.

Most disappointing thing about this
Is that the Dream Shake’s tag line, "Expecting “Cook for LeBron” Any Day Now" is a tad less likely to actually happen.

Cook was useless, but don't
be surprised if some team will sign him. Even next year, i wouldnt be surprised if he signs with some team for minimum salary. Minimum salary still beats a 8-5 job.

Yahoo is reporting Cook has been waived and Garrett Temple has be resigned to another 10 day contract.

Well we could just sit our injured players down in the bench..
