The Dream Shake Slogan

Since Cook has been waived, can we have a TDS wide vote on what the next slogan should be...I think that would be a cool thing to do...maybe get like 3-5 ideas and then vote...

if i had to have one i would choose. "The Dream Shake - A Houston Rockets Blog looking for different ways to wake up Mr. Adelman"

Its ok but i think it would be cool to get some funny ideas from around the blog...what you think?

No cursing in title. No pirated material, such as links to online game streams. Do not cut/paste entire sections of content from other websites. Thanks.

Where Daryl Morey gets Advice

by batman713 on Feb 21, 2010 11:02 PM CST reply actions

I was about to change it this weekend to...

“… where we really, really hate the Utah Jazz”

by grungedave on Feb 21, 2010 11:49 PM CST reply actions

Where the center is the shortest person on the court.

by VBG on Feb 22, 2010 3:32 AM CST reply actions

i think

it should change daily or weekly, sort of reflecting what has taken place over the last day/week, kind of like the slogan on ‘Futurama’ when it comes on
it always had a little saying…could be something like The Dream Shake- A Houston Rockets blog….Loading Speed Racer Era

by mcgadget on Feb 22, 2010 5:56 AM CST reply actions

What about this

The Dream Shake-A Houston Rockets blog…

- Where injuries happen (had to put that out there, but honestly don’t consider that one)
- Where ‘no-stats’ all-stars happen (tribute to Shane and Chuck)
- Where trade fleecing happens (tribute to Daryl Morey)
- Where Von Wafer, Brian Cook and Tracy McGrady happened (if you want to take a stab at ex-Rockets)
- Where Mothers Day Miracles happen
- Where cultural diversity happens (to Scola, Andersen and Yao)
- Where great centers happen (from Moses to Dream to Yao to the Chuckwagon)

You can tell I got bored at work

The Dream Shake-A Houston Rockets blog. . .

…Where talks of adding Lebron, CP3 and/or Chris Bosh this summer aren’t uncommon
…where Jason Kidd isn’t better than Aaron Brooks
…Act up and you’ll get the T-Mac special
…Yes I said Rockets… Houston does still have a team

by joshsm07 on Feb 22, 2010 10:24 AM CST reply actions

Thing is...

There’s wishcasting, and more serious stuff. It’s pretty easy to discern between the two. Wishcasting isn’t the typical outlook of the blog, I’d say.

Jason Kidd is the greatest player to ever play the game, unless you could the dozens of better ones.

Act up and you’ll get sent exactly where you want to go? Harsh.

Rocket’s are one of 4 teams to increase season ticket sales this year.

Significant gravitas shortfall expected in 2010.

The Dream Shake-A Houston Rockets blog...

…where no ESPN Airtime happens.
…where “how the *&%@” did that just happen!!…happens.
…where 22-in-a-row-without-our-main-players can happen.
…where Sleepy happens……twice (SFloyd and RA)
…where “any idea when our true starting five will actually be together?” happens.

You guys crack me up – Props to you

I kinda still like

tds… still trying to figure out how to wake up coach sleepy

by AlDe2356 on Feb 22, 2010 1:03 PM CST reply actions

My vote goes to the "Still trying to figure out how to wake up Coach Sleepy"

To all Houston sports fans, Houston is the 4th biggest city in America, there will be traffic on the way to your respective sports game. Come Early, Be Loud, Stay Late.

Why is everyone doing the "where ... happens"?

bcz of the slogan...

the nba…Where…Happens…its just a easy plug in

by EveryHoustonTeamRox! on Feb 22, 2010 11:01 PM CST up reply actions

Could we get some clarification on the chosen slogan??

Does “Free Luis Scola” mean release him or let him loose on the court? Personally Id prefer the latter.

Where did "free Luis Scola" come from?

Because I like it. I like it a lot at this point. When they mean “free” Scola, they mean “free” him from more of those 23 point games. They mean to “free” him from the bench in the 4th quarter. They mean to “free” him to have a monster game sometime.

i think we could do: TDS

“Where no national TV time happens.”

Rockets>>>>>>Jazz
Texans>>>>>>>Titans
Super Mario>>>>>>>Vince Young

by Rockets 4 Life on Feb 22, 2010 9:27 PM CST reply actions

Here's a few...

Houston we have problems, but we make it work.
average sized people plus Yao Ming play basketball.
Whats national television?

oh maybe you can pitch this one to the knicks
Where careers end.

And here’s a game we can play at home during home games…
Try to spot steve francis at the game…. its pretty tricky he’s hard to find than waldo.

Borrowing from an old joke

The Dream Shake: If Yao Ming were proportional, he’d be ten feet tall

Yea, I went there ;). I remember he gave this answer to a cheeky female reporter wayy back in the day.
