Vassilis Spanoulis Is Returning To NBA

The word in Greece is that former Houston Rocket Vassilis Spanoulis will return to the NBA next season. His agent has been talking with representatives with NBA teams in recent days (Knicks, Lakers). Rockets fans seem to hate this guy and always make fun of him. This has got me wondering will Rockets fans continue to hate this guy when he returns to the NBA? I know he said he felt the Houston fans there hated him so much.

I think San Antonio still owns his rights right? (Scola trade?). Not a huge story, but I guess it gets time since we got a pretty good player for Vas anyways.

In Daryl Morey, Rick Smith and Ed Wade we (usually) trust.
He was a stone cold bust, which was doubly hard to take after being (self-)billed as "the Greek TMac".
There’s been plenty of board chatter — at least on ClutchFans — about how his abysmal performance may have been the result of JVG’s coaching… which I find plausible.
I’d be interested to see how he fares, if he gives the NBA another shot.

He just wasn’t ready for the NBA last time. If he think’s he’s ready now good for him.
IIRC
we gave up Luis Flores!! to get this bum in the first place. unBELIEVABLE.
