The Rockets are holding an electronics recycling event at the Toyota Center today and Saturday. Donate something (TV, printer, keyboard) and get two free tickets to Monday's game against Toronto.

Old electronics actually present a big problem for landfills, so this supports a pretty good cause. Besides, the prospect of getting free Rockets tickets in exchange for a broken printer should be a nice incentive.

Not bad!

They give you a voucher that you can redeem for two tickets for the Toronto game. The tickets they give you work on a first come first serve basis though. I turned in a old cell phone and I got seats in section 408, row 2 seats 3 and 4. Those aren’t bad seats at all, and when you think about it you’re getting free tickets for an old microwave you will probably never use.
