PEYTON MANNING THE CHOKE ARTIST!........2 ANSWERS FOR 2 ROCKETS PROBLEMS
Nobody ca tell me at all that they are surprised at the result of the Super Bowl. I like the Saints and all but the story was Peyton Manning, the greatest REGULAR SEASON QB. This is just what the guy does. He can not win the big one. The only reason he even has a ring is because in the AFC Championship game a stupid ass reciever (not gonna mention names because i am still upset about that) dropped a ball that could have given the Patriots a 1st down and put them in FG range. And in the super bowl that year he went up against a QB that wouldnt even make a high school squad. PEYON MANNING IS A CHOKE ARTIST!!! I rest my case.
Now back to more relative topics. The Rockets need some help. in the paint and on the wings. In the paint we need some defense, GOSH MAN!!!!! My answer to that, and i think we are thinking the same thing, is Joey Dorsey. This guy is what we have been looking for to defend the paint and rebound. I aint just sayin it he is doing it when he gets in the game. Go look at his +/- in the past two games he had significant time in (seriously its major). He needs more minutes than Chuck Wagon and the Aussie guy. Next topic....2 guard that can get his own shot and actually finish a drive to the basket. My answer, Jermaine Taylor. Now that Trever Ariza is out at least one game this is the time for JT to show he needs more minutes (and Ariza needs less). He can A: handle the ball B: finish strong at the rim consistantly C: get his own shot and D: shoot from mid-range and the free throw line (something Ariza cant do from anywhere). This guy scored back to back 30 point games in the D-league scoring at will. Most importantly about these two young players is the are both freakishly athletic. With those guys in the regular rotation we could be like the Atlanta Hawks (almost). Making a trade would complicate things a little bit seeing as there are no real starts available or even youngstars with potential that we can realisticly aquire. And we still need to re-sign Lowry and Scola so we could use McGrady's salary cap relief to do so. Still with a chance at getting a star in the summer i.e. Joe Johnson, we should just chill out because we will still make the play-offs The answer to our problems are right under our noses, we just have to take a sniff at 'em.

check yo facts
Peyton didn’t choke.
Reggie Wayne did.
And so did Pierre Garcon.
Manning put the ball in the right place. Wayne was just sloppy and ran a poor route, allowing the DB to jump the route.
like I said
check yo facts… on the pick 6, Reggie Wayne ran the wrong route and telegraphed everything to Tracy Porter. Not Manning’s fault.
at the end of the day...
the guy is 9-9 in the post season, where it really matters. He’s the QB so its his fault. It comes with the job.
apparently, peyton manning is also the heart and soul of the defense.
I didn’t know that peyton manning played both sides of the ball.
i’m a texans fan all the way, but it’s not ONLY the QB’s fault. A lot of factors decide the game, just like any other sport.

I think its not just on Wayne.
The Colts ran the same play two plays ago. Porter said he was looking for that exact route. He got it, and jumped it right. Wayne might have done a bit better, but it’s on Manning too, after all, he’s calling the plays as well as throwing the ball.
For me, as a Texans fan, I’ve had quite enough of the magical Colts thank you very much. I’m happy for NOLA and their fans. Both sides played a great game, the Saints played a bit better, and had a bit more luck. It was close, so a little luck is the difference. Seeing these razor thin mistakes kill us against Indy again and again and again its nice to see them get a taste of it.
But a “choke”? I see that as a collapse, not a mistake. A couple of mistakes don’t constitute a choke. Oilers/Bills? That was a choke, with perhaps a stabbing added in.
Significant gravitas shortfall expected in 2010.
sigh
its not worth responding to rant posts like this
they all end up a little crazy in the end.
