That's right NBA, keep kicking us while we're down

And replacing injured guard Brandon Roy in the NBA all-star game will be:

Los Angeles Clippers C Chris Kaman

Yes, folks, you read that right.  A GUARD goes down, and the NBA has the gall to spit on Houston's face YET AGAIN.  Keep spitting folks, keep kicking us while we're down.  Ok, maybe he didn't initially deserve to be in this years game, but with all the injuies, how can Aaron Brooks NOT be in Dallas?  How ironic and funny is it that the Rockets are the ONLY WINNING TEAM without ANY representation at this years game.

Nobody made the Frosh/Soph game

Nobody will play on Saturday night at any of the skills competitions

Nobody will partake in the action in the Sunday night exhibition

Wow, way to kick us when we're down folks.  For that I hope we sneak into the playoffs and put an end to those thoughts of awesome grandeur starring LeBron and Kobe.  Heck, how about we just be the team that ENDS the Laker's season.

I'm hopping mad right now.  I hope AB goes for 40 tomorrow night against the Heat in Miami.  Thoughts?

Edit: Ok, I did some other reading, and where in the world are people getting this thought that Roy's replacement should be a forward or center?  Why?  You lose a GUARD, you replace him with another GUARD.  Duh!  Yes, Carlos Boozer and Andrew Bynum (and to a lesser extend our boy Carl Landry) are all having great seasons, well...better than Kaman.  But still, this should be Aaron Brook's spot.  Man, the NBA royally goofed this time.

No cursing in title. No pirated material, such as links to online game streams. Do not cut/paste entire sections of content from other websites. Thanks.

NO SURPRISE

the nba does not like the rockets its obvious. even when we won 22 strate they made excuses for y we were winning. just get used 2 it because we will get their attention sooner than they expect

That IS ridiculous

I didn’t realize we were the ONLY winning team without any representation, screw David Stern and his reign of tyranny

To be fair:

There are 4 “healthy” guards playing for the West, and no true centers other than Kaman. Yeah, not having representation sucks, but if it’s just Kaman vs. Brooks they both had marginally deserving seasons. Frankly, if you’re going to take a good player from a losing team (a la Kaman) then I think Warriors fans have more reason to be upset than we do.

Crying doesn’t change anything. The Rockets don’t so why should you?

I’m not one to get passionate on a forum board but I’m tired of hearing about this.

ab 4 all star

its just because he BITCHED about how he is BETTER than gasol or bynum
so they felt sorry 4 him. so they put him in there this year.
guard goes down. guard 2 fill in. not a damn center.

Carl Landry, based on his advanced stats, is worthy of a place in the ASG.

They needed a center, and Kaman is that. He’s having a pretty good year. Whatever, I’d honestly rather have the team get rest and maybe some practice in.

I would put Monta Ellis over Aaron Brooks for the all star game

by VBG on Feb 9, 2010 2:19 AM CST reply actions   0 recs

Monta is a figment of high usage, to a very real extent.

I think RONDO in HORSE was more surprising

by VBG on Feb 9, 2010 2:20 AM CST reply actions   0 recs

I'd take Brooks over almost anyone in HORSE.

id take lebron

by dacodeman on Feb 9, 2010 10:26 PM CST up reply actions   0 recs

That's one of the almost.

But still, Aaron has all those crazy spins high off the glass, scoops, floaters, etc etc. Makes for a tough horse opponent.

Remember...

this is the team without any stars! just don’t let Landry know that he plays like one.

contributing nothing substantial to your blog, since 2008!

I'd imagine his agent knows already.

He didn't quite earn it that way.

I would love to see our city and team represented, but

I also know that this team needs REST more than anything! Brooks has been playing out of his mind, and his minutes are bloated, if there is one man on the team that could use the time off it’s Aaron Brooks.

The NBA has labeled us as the team “with no all-star” and they would like to see us stay that way. Now when All-star game 2011 rolls around, and if we don’t have Aaron or Carl in the game, then i’ll be pissed!

Im all for a whole week of rest.

Another kick...

They chose Jason Kidd over ABZ to replace Iverson in the All-star game. That’s just redonkulous.
