Tis' The End?
"Now that the NBA has sliced $4 million off of the Washington Wizards' salary cap this year due to the suspensions of Gilbert Arenas and Javaris Crittenton. So now the team only needs to get rid of $4 million or $5 million more to get under the salary cap, so it's looking more and more like the team is going to ditch Caron Butler before the Feb. 18 trading deadline, according to NBA.com.
The rumor is that the team has offers from the Dallas Mavericks and the Houston Rockets and will likely decide on one by week's end. However, the Wizards may want any team taking Butler to also take Mike James or DeShawn Stevenson in order to clear up some more cash.
The Wizards apparently want a younger player in the deal, which means the Mavs would need to include rookie guard Rod Beaubois. The Rockets have young guard Kyle Lowry and an expiring contract in forward Luis Scola Tracy McGrady."
I doubt the Rox will give up anyone other than T-mac, unless its B. Cook, but i do think the Wizards will eventually bite by the end of the week cause i know they'd rather have T-mac's expiring contract rather than what Dallas has to offer

How would this work for T-Mac?
T-Mac’s contract is worth far more money than Butler’s. With Washington wanting a younger player along with someone like T-Mac would mean that Washington would need to come up with nothing less than $22 million to offer us.
No, T-Mac will not be a part of this trade, if it happens. If he were, we would be losing millions for absolutely nothing.
he better be
we desperately need a scoring wing.
Rockets>>>>>>Jazz
Texans>>>>>>>Titans
Super Mario>>>>>>>Vince Young
A new rumored deal...

I, for one, like it.
Gives us Caron Butler and finally some much needed shot-blocking from Haywood, plus he averages almost a double-double. All for just T-Mac
yeah
i was up at 5am when i seen that this morning, i started to post it but i got lazy after shoveling, me being a T-mac fan first, i would rather see him in a wizards jersey for the rest of the season, but like he said, i dont really care if he goes to the damn moon, as long as he gets to play, i figured it would take a 3 team trade though, i think in any situation it would have to take a 3 team trade cause the Rox didnt want to just take any garbage just to be taking it
