Unrelated Story: UH wins C-USA!

Story - UH beats UTEP
To all my fellow cougars on here...
For the first time since 1992, the Houston Cougars are going to the BIG DANCE! and for the first time EVER they've won the Conference USA Tournament!
Kelvin Lewis led the team with 28 pts and made 6/10 3pt shots and we also have Aubrey Coleman leading the whole NCAA on points, look like good prospers for this year's NBA draft
Even though I think last year's team with Lanny Smith and Mckiver was better, the fall of Memphis as a power house in the conference has allowed this team to make it happen
Cinderella Team? prob a long shot
but we can always dream!

No cursing in title. No pirated material, such as links to online game streams. Do not cut/paste entire sections of content from other websites. Thanks.

Man, I'm proud to be a Houston Cougar

While this is far from my last year at UH (I’m set to start graduate school next fall here after doing 4 years of undergrad and 1 of pharm school), I’m incredibly proud of this team. I’m ashamed that as a UH student I didn’t get the chance to go to any basketball games this year (or last year), but I still cheer on my guys when I can, I just don’t want to seem like a bandwagon cougar fan who’s only going to pull on the team when they win.

Btw, Aubrey Coleman kinda looks a bit like Jermaine Taylor in my eyes.

Whose house? Coogs house!

In Daryl Morey, Rick Smith and Ed Wade we (usually) trust.

Making the big dance after almost 20 years away is a good start.

There are a lot of big things happening at UH, not just sports. I think the future is bright.

Significant gravitas shortfall expected in 2010.

They're a 13 seed

will play 4 seed Maryland. Anything other than a blowout loss should be considered an overachievement. Looks like Penders’ job is saved. This might be fool’s gold, if they’re going to keep him at the expense of not pursuing a better coach.

We also have THE WORST

record of any team in the tournament, but it’d still be fun to watch
