An up-and-down season in a nutshell.
I don't put a lot of stock in Hollinger's playoff odds on ESPN (where he simulates the results of the rest of the season 5000 times and gives the % of times a team makes the playoffs), but it's still a fun thing to check out occasionally.
One interesting tidbit: the Rockets are the ONLY team in the NBA in which the "best case" scenario is that we win all remaining games, and the "worst case" scenario is we lose all remaining games. Every other team either steals or drops at least one in their best and worst cases.
How about it: it's possible for us (and no one else) to go 16-0 or 0-16 from here out. An up-and-down season in a nutshell.
No cursing in title. No pirated material, such as links to online game streams. Do not cut/paste entire sections of content from other websites. Thanks.

Hollinger's bias:
(((SOS-0.5)/0.037)0.67) + (((SOSL10-0.5)/0.037)0.33) + 100 + (0.67*(MARG+(((ROAD-HOME)3.5)/(GAMES))) + (0.33(MARGL10+(((ROAD10-HOME10)*3.5)/(10)))))
Which is the anti-Houston variable? Maybe MARGL10 (scoring margin over last 10 games)?
I don’t buy the Houston bias. The only real evidence of it is the no-TV dates, and that’s not too surprising for a team with no jersey selling stars predicted to win 35 games. Everyone who was chosen instead of a Rocket for the all-star game had a pretty good case to be made (even if for Kidd it was the hometown “help us set an attendance record” factor).
I almost wanted to say
“If u havent noticed” (and judging by the lack of national televised games), the Rockets have managed to win a few, and are threatening to crawl into the playoff picture.
Just fit the Harry Doyle profile from Major League.

16-0 is possible
But I’m thinking more of a 12-4 or 13-3 finish. The 5 worst games left for us are as follows:
3/27 vs LA Kobe’s: well, do I need say more…this is one I’d LOVE to steal.
3/31 at San Antonio: this one is the 2nd night of a back-to-back (following Washington, which could be a trap game) and San Antonio may be playing for their playoff lives by then.
4/2 at Boston: worry’s me because we’ll be in rowdy Boston playing a pretty pumped Boston squad who may be fighting to get back on the 2/3 line instead of the 4 spot against Milwaukee and then Cleveland in round 2 should they advance
4/4 at Indiana: ok, so I just put a mediocre Eastern conference team on here, only because we NEVER play well against the Pacers or the 76ers for some bizarre reason, so thus the golden circle
4/7 vs Utah: because I HATE THE FRIGGIN UTAH JAZZ
Honorable Mention goes to the 3/22 game against Chicago and the 4/12 game in Sacramento
GO ROCKETS!!!
