Remaining Schedule
Anybody notice how many back to back games we have left? I think we are going to win the majority of these games. This team is starting to click, I predict that we finish the season strong. Got Boston twice, but we can beat them.
Any playoff experience this team can get will serve us well. Come on Rox take that #8 spot. Portland's schedule looks easier than ours, but San Antonio could slip right?
No cursing in title. No pirated material, such as links to online game streams. Do not cut/paste entire sections of content from other websites. Thanks.

true rockets fan
is what u r and i am glad 2 c i there are people who have confidence that we can do it
If we make the playoffs at all
San Antonio falls out and we get the 8th seed. I don’t see Portland losing that many games, unless B.Roy gets injured again (look at what is happening to NO without CP3)

You know
I can really see San Antonio falling out of it…. It would be a bonus for me since i’m currently in San Antonio, (its good to hear san antonio fans shut the hell up). Portland has only 5 real games to worry about before the season is out.
Let's look at the remaining fifteen games... with my completely unscientific guesses...
- Sun Mar 21 @ New York 12:00pm W
McGrady could have a monster game against his former team. Then again, this is the Knicks. This game is definitely a “should win” I can see becoming a “should have won”. Still, I’m putting it down as a W… with the feeling I’m making a huge mistake.
- Mon Mar 22 @ Chicago 7:00pm W
Rockets lost previous meeting with Chicago. If Adelman and/or others remind the Rockets of this, they should win it.
- Wed Mar 24 @ Oklahoma City 7:00pm W
Rockets have owned OKC this season. 3 games of a four game season series, with 3 wins.
- Thu Mar 25 vs LA Clippers 7:30pm W
As above, except it’s a three game season series. And it’s the Clippers.
- Sat Mar 27 vs LA Lakers 7:30pm L
Winnable, but this is the Lakers.
- Tue Mar 30 vs Washington 7:30pm W
- Wed Mar 31 @ San Antonio 7:30pm W
Could be a letdown game, being the second half of a back-to-back after playing a weak team.
- Fri Apr 02 @ Boston 6:30pm L
It’s Boston. Defense by Coach Thibodeaux. ‘Nuff said.
- Sun Apr 04 @ Indiana 5:00pm L
Indiana seems to own us lately, kinda like Philly.
- Tue Apr 06 @ Memphis 7:00pm W
We’ve owned Memphis this season.
- Wed Apr 07 vs Utah 7:00pm L
- Fri Apr 09 vs Charlotte 7:30pm W
- Sun Apr 11 @ Phoenix 8:00pm L
- Mon Apr 12 @ Sacramento 9:00pm L
- Wed Apr 14 vs New Orleans 7:00pm L
I mainly am going by my gut, and the season record so far against each team. Even so, I don’t feel completely secure in these predictions, as the Rockets have a history of beating really good opponents, and stinking up the gym against bad ones… so take this with a shakerful of salt.
So, my “predictions” suggest a 43-39 record to close the regular season… most likely, not quite enough to make the playoffs. Still, it’s better than a whole lot of people expected.
Let’s see how it goes…
U Joking Rite?
Naw i See Us Losing 3 Of Them Games (Lakers,Phx,Boston) but how u put us 2 lose 2 Utah…Rockets Bring Da A Game When We Play Dem Hate Fucking Utath and we do lose its cuz the officials who seems 2 always give jazz calls..happens all the time in the playoff and season games…Fuck the Utah Jazz And derr Fan’s
fuck the jazz yes
but we hvnt seemed to do well against them lately and they are a good team
only thing i would disagree with is the last 3 games. i think we take at least 1 of those games and all 3 are possible for us to win
My thoughts on those last three games...
Phoenix has beaten the Rockets in their previous three meetings, albeit by an average margin of six points. Winnable, yes… but I don’t feel the season history is much cause for confidence.
Sacramento has Landry now, and got their one win in three tries against the Rockets with Landry in the lineup. Their record doesn’t show, in my opinion, how tough the Kings really are.
New Orleans has beaten the Rockets two games to one so far, and Chris Paul may be back on the floor for this last game.
Now, I can see those last two (Sacramento and New Orleans) possibly being laughers because both teams might well be out of playoff contention at that point, leading the coaches to bench their better players for the game. I’m not counting on that, though.

8th seed
that means we would play lakers. man we play those guys alot.
With the recent injuries
its not lookin too good for the Rockets. I thought we didnt have a chance anyway because we are too far back, but with Battier, Jeffries and Hill out indefinitely i dont think there is any way we make it.
Go ahead and call me a bad Rockets fan, but im kinda hoping we dont make the playoffs. That doesnt mean I hope we tank it, Im just looking at the future when we actually have a chance to do the only thing that really matters, WIN THE NBA CHAMPIONSHIP. Lets face it, we will not win the title this year. If we cant win the title than I always think its best to try and get better for the future. Playing hard the rest of the season will allow the team to come together and gain chemistry going into next season.
Now lets look at the draft situation. Right now we would have the 13th pick unless we get top 3. We would most likely have to be about 10 games above .500 to make the playoffs and would thus have a better record than all the 5-8 Eastern teams who will lose in the 1st round to the top 4. That would leave us with the 19th pick which is a huge difference than having the 13th pick with a chance at a top 3 pick.
Again, Im not rooting against the Rockets, I just feel that getting a lottery pick will improve us more than losing in the 1st round the Lakers in 4 or 5 games.
