Brian Cook a Nugget ... ?
Hi Rocket fans,
Wondering if you guys have any insight into Brian Cook for us Nuggets fans? I know he didn't play much in his time in Houston, but anything you guys think about his game or lack thereof would be appreciated!
To get to 75 words I would like to say that I wish Carl Landry would have somehow done a Face Off move a la Nic Cage in said movie and then revealed himself after the Nuggets signed him ... well perhaps after the season instead so he didn't have to play for the Kings.
-Nate, Denver Stiffs.

Contagiously awesome!
He needs big minutes in the Mile High City.
Significant gravitas shortfall expected in 2010.
He's an over-paid benchwarmer that
gives out high-fives and plays garbage minutes

Don't listen to him.
Brian Cook will give you a truly memorable performance if you give him 42 minutes a night. Memorable.

oh yes! VERY memorable, in fact, just play him-all the time-he’ll lead you to the promise land.
Forget what I said-idk what I was smoking haha

one of the bad moves Morey has actually made..
was waiving B.Cook. He’s the next best bench warmer out there.

I thought
the Denver front office was smart, this move proves me wrong

They're brilliant.
The only thing that would be more brilliant would be to make Cook Denver’s starting PF.

Give him big minutes and watch things change in Denver.
Come on, I dare you.

Uhhh...he's good at...uhhh...
Brian Cook is basically the pro equivalent of the guy who always gets picked last in gym.
Because he's a one man wrecking crew.
Everyone is afraid of Cook. He should take minutes from Melo starting now!

When he plays
He’s a soft 4 who prefers to stay on the perimeter. He can be easily pushed around inside, and should be no higher than the 4th of 5th big man in your rotation.
B^2
In Daryl Morey, Rick Smith and Ed Wade we (usually) trust.
So very wrong.
This is all misinformation. Brian Cook is a scoring dynamo and as a defensive player he’s a cross between Hakeem and Bill Russell.
I also think Nitro meant to say he should start at the 4 or 5 for any championship contender.

How knew Xiane was such a Brian Cook fan!!
Xiane, I hope this doesn’t mean your leaving us to write for Denver Stiffs

I just think Denver needs to take advantage of our grievous mistake and give Cook huge minutes.
Huge minutes.

One of the few mistakes
by Management.
Put it this way…
We have only one a few games since he left.
So how's Michael Sweetney doing?
You might want to try him, he’s probably better than Cook even knee-deep in whatever buffet he’s busy eating himself out of the league in. Could also try Patrick O’Bryant.
Go Rockets/Nets[CDR]/Bucks[Jennings]!
There is one thing that Cook can do better than Hakeem
shooting 3s… :-)
shit, guess they are gonna overthrow LA now..
Denver has Melo, Chauncey, AND Cook?! Life’s not fair
If the Nuggets are looking for a guy who can do a good job at…
… keeping a spot of the bench warm, filling up a roster spot, and wasting badly needed salary cap space then Cook is the perfect man for the job since he is very experienced at doing all those things.
But if you want someone who might make some positive contributions to an NBA team anytime other than (maybe) in garbage time then your team should probably sign someone from the D-League instead.
I had to stop arguing with drunks, Steeler fans, and all other fools.
It was making my brick wall jealous...
xiane i love your feeble attempts to make cook sound like amare stoudemire.

He's the future of the Denver Nuggets. It's totally clear.
If only they would give him big minutes.

i thought we aren't doing any Cook jokes....
i guess i misread it…..
Denver need this guy…. he’s big… have you see the DUNK he did few games ago (can someone dig that up and privde a link? any of the Cook’s Forever fans?)
don't bully me, i am from the D(etroit)!!!
Brian Cook....
Yea, have fun with that. Let me know how that works out for you.
Like Xaine said, you can play him and he will definitely give you memorable time on the court.
We bought out his contract so we could play a D-League point guard on a ten day contract (a guy we later let go after he had played well). What does that tell you?
