Daryl Morey talks about the 2009-2010 Season
He says Les Alexander has given him all the resources to keep Lowry and Scola. Much more discussed, too.

hmmmmmm
“On what the future holds: Obviously starting at 42 wins we have a lot to do to get back to where we want to be. To win the title you have to be somewhere around 55 to 57 wins. So we’ve got to get there.”
Didn’t I just predict 57 wins last night? yes, yes I did.
Major props my man
I hear Morey is looking for an apprentice.
And his computer just crashed from the resume submissions.
How many Biletnikoffs does he have? NOT TWO!
He says they're looking for a power forward or center
Doesn’t sound like he cares which since he appears to think we have a number of guys who can play at either position.
Says they want to focus a lot on improving the defense.
I think at the big spot I’m probably focused on getting someone a little more defensive-minded there.
Might be players for big free agents, but would be okay going into the season with what we’ve got plus Yao plus minor acquisitions.
basically
I think he’s saying he’s looking for someone who can block shots. Since we haven’t had anyone do that other than Mutombo on a regular basis. It’s not a special skill of Yao’s either.
I'm no expert, but I like what I'm reading about Ekpe Udoh.
Granted, draft sites’ player profiles tend to make them all sound like stars, but still…

Yep, I interpreted it in a similar fashion.
We need someone who can bring back the finger wag, metaphorically speaking.
We won't be able to afford him.
David Lee is going to get real paid by a loser of The Great Free Agent Adventure of 2010, most probably his current team.
"Each in turn... volunteered his suggestions, his invaluable suggestions."
No concern was not addressed...
at least in the talk.
