I would assume that's because of the playoffs. Surprise, surprise: players want to get to the postseason.

More like the Raptors frontcourt has no bangers, so he might be able to do something there. Doubt it though.

To be more serious, he’s probably like most athletes, and isn’t exactly eager to jump right back in and play for the club which just traded him. Ruffled feathers and all that.

While Joey was weak offensively, he was a great asset defensively, at least in my opinion.
He was a great big guy to have inside to grab boards. A good Hayes backup.

A salary cap point (and the strip club jokes are funny so I laughed at them too)
Is that Toronto can’t actually put Dorsey ON IT’S playoff roster. Therefore it’s only for a brief look in the future I suppose. It won’t help them come playoff team.
The reason Dorsey can’t play on a playoff roster is that he was waived well after March 1st to be eligible.
