Enlightening.
That said, I don’t necessarily read this as being particularly positive for Jordan Hill. While with NY almost 45% of his shots were away from the rim? The reason he’s so underrated is BECAUSE he takes so many of his shots from the perimeter, which isn’t something I would necessarily encourage. I know he’s not worthless from 15 feet, but he still shouldn’t shoot half his shots from there.
on the plus side.
that means if he moves inside more, as he is supposed to do.
he should become a rebounding force
I love any post that talks about how good our players are
But I think the post is correct in implying that DRR% is a more reliable indicator of a player’s rebounding prowess. Here’s hoping Jordan Hill becomes a rebounding force as time goes on. We didn’t have one player in the top 20 in DRR% this season, one of the things I’m crossing my fingers to be addressed if DM decides to tinker this off-season.
Of course, YIAGCSACATSTTIA (Yao Is A Game Changer, So All Conclusions About This Season Take That Into Account).
In other news, I finally figured out how to make a signature on SB Nation. Big day for me.
