What each player on the roster should improve on
Assuming we will have everyone back from this past season's roster these are the things each player should improve on.
C - David Andersen- Improve post defense, rebounding, and strength
G/F - Trevor "T-Reezy" Ariza- ball handling, decision making, shooting (in all fields)
F - Shane Battier- stop disapearing on offense
G - Aaron "After Burners" Brooks- stength/defense, decision making
G/F - Chase "Bud Lite" Budinger- consistensy, defensive awareness, creating own offense
F/C - Chuck "Wagon" Hayes- finishing in the paint, FT shooting
F - Jordan Hill- strength, post moves, overall shooting and passing
F- Jared Jeffries- spot up jump shot
F- Alexander Johnson- I don't know who in the hell this guy is
G- Kyle "K-Lo" Lowry- shooting, half-court passing
G- Kevin "K-Mart" Martin- strength, defense, rebounding
C- Yao "YAOZZA!!!" Ming- quit working so damn hard. you are to big to have that kind of work ethic which is why you get hurt eventually
F/C- Luis Scola!!!- just flawless
G- Jermaine "JT" Taylor- shooting, 3pt shooting, cut down turnovers
If anyone has anything to add then lets hear it......

You know what I would love to see this offseason?
Jordan Hill spending a few weeks working with Hakeem. Specifically on his footwork down low. It would be nice for him to add a little more to his offensive game.
The player I would like least at #9 would be my sister’s cat, Captain Creamsicle. She does have a great work ethic and agility, but I’m really concerned that at 9 lbs., she’s too small to play safety in the NFL. She also bites way too often on play action and is easily distracted by someone waving string in the crowd. Lastly, her wonderlic score was pretty awful, answering "meow meow meow" for most of the questions- Dr. Brackish Okun
Well. if it's not Hakeem
then it’s definitely Jack Sikma and CD. Both are excellent coaches for big men, and it’s only because there were so many “first ballot” centers around that people don’t realize how great a player Sikma was. He also had the most awesome mullet.
Anyhow, don’t fret. Carl Landry came to us without much of a post game (truth) and left with a great one. Morey has said that the only ceiling on Jordan Hill is his willingness to work. That’s pretty encouraging.

I agree
It was just frustrating last offseason, seeing Kobe freaking Bryant working with the dream, and not one of our own big men. But yea Sikma, and CD are excellent teachers as well.

Thinking about
Jordan Hill with a Dreamshake move has my heart racing.
I don't agree with Ariza improving on shooting.
Decision making yes, but shooting, no. His FG % was terrible this year, but he is a a good catch and shoot shooter. The only reason he is a “bad shooter” to you is because he pulls up and misses a lot. Notice though, whenever he catches and shoots, he could shoot at least 40% from the 3 pt line(assuming he does not pull up anymore). With Yao and Kevin Martin he will become a catch and shoot shooter, thus his FG percentage going up.
A statement to the players of the Jazz and Mavericks: Please stop flopping all over the court.
no he is a bad shooter
explain his FT%….even when he pulls up i think its a good shot for him he just needs to work on making more of them cuz if he does that he would be a bit more dangerous dont u think. and if he made his damn FT’s at a higher rate it would also help the team since we are building around playing in the penatlty a lot
GO ROCKETS, GO TEXANS, GO ASTROS (EVEN THOUGH THEY SUCK)!!!
He is a bad pull up shooter.
They are bad shots anyway, regardless if he is open. Who cares about FT %, 3 point catch and shooting is different from shooting a free throw.

yea he is a bad pull up shooter
thats why i said he should work on it, he has shown the willingness to take but not the ability t make it. he does need 2 improve his FT% becasue we will get into the penalty early alot next year with Martin Yao and Lowry so the better he is at that the more effective he will be especially when closing games.

Guys
I think Ariza was brought in for catch-and-shoot purposes this coming season. The organization wanted to see if he really could become a scoring option off the dribble. Turns out that’s a big no. When K-Mart came over, they changed it up and Ariza starting looking more like the guy we’ll see in 2010-11 hopefully.
So you’re both right. Ariza isn’t a great shooter, but he can certainly hit open shots with decent accuracy.
How many Biletnikoffs does he have? NOT TWO!
oh sorry
F- Jared Jeffries- spot up jump shot

i've given up on that
good suggestion though

i aint got a clue who this guy is
all i know is he came from the d-league and he has hopps
GO ROCKETS, GO TEXANS, GO ASTROS (EVEN THOUGH THEY SUCK)!!!
he was only signed for the rest of this season, as far as I know
Unless we lose players via trade, I doubt he’ll have a roster spot next season.
He could be a better offensive rebounder.
That’s about all I’ve got. That and dunk more.

Perimeter defense, too
could use help. But at this point, he’s pretty much what he is. He’s too slow on D to guard quick 4s or guys who can turn and drive past him.

Jefferies could improve on
not sucking so hard.

Chuck Hayes
finishes well in the paint, I think. He’s got that reverse layup down and his spin move really looked like an actual spin move towards the end of the season.
How many Biletnikoffs does he have? NOT TWO!
he gets all lay ups and still
doesnt shoot at least 50% so he needs to work on that. he really does blow lay ups man
