Okay, *now* the offseason begins (Utah swept. Haha!)
You may now resume hating on the Los Angeles Lakers.
(though we should at least thank them for humiliating the Utah Jazz. In Utah.)

You suck, Utah Jazz. Way to put up a fight on your home court. Even the Rockets without Yao Ming and Tracy McGrady and starting Chuck Hayes at C last year took it to a much better Lakers team and at least forced a Game 7.

that doesn't mean anything...
…it just didn’t feel like we had control of the series at any point (except after game 1). the entire mentality coming from the lakers was like “oh we’re better than them, no need to try on the road we can just blow em out at home”
You can't just discount the three Houston wins
by your opinion of what the Lakers were thinking. The facts are that Houston put up a much better fight than Utah. Facts speak for themselves. The Rockets could have easily rolled over and given up at any point in that series but they didn’t. I don’t know know that I can say so much for Jazz. It was like they knew Game 4 was over before it even started.

i don't think any of the first 3 losses were due to lack of effort..
…but i don’t think i’m getting anywhere with this :P. i’ll just go back to looking forward to yao ariza martin brooks scola together healthy
sure thing there guy...
we all know that you really mean boozer, williams, & ak-47 since you are obviously a jazz lover. The Rockets forced a game 7 with the lakers, the jizz couldn’t even manage to force a game 5.
And somehow that's a criticism of the Rockets?

u must be a laker fan
the dreamshake has no room for your kind
GO ROCKETS, GO TEXANS, GO ASTROS (EVEN THOUGH THEY SUCK)!!!
also...
you know the refs were instructed to make sure the lakers win anyway
see this post http://www.thedreamshake.com/2010/5/6/1461287/interesting-videos-i-saw-on
GO ROCKETS, GO TEXANS, GO ASTROS (EVEN THOUGH THEY SUCK)!!!
of course...
… but we won game 1 despite the refs, yeah the jazz lost in 4 straight games, but each game was a close game despite the refs.
yea
but the nba has to make sure the suns don’t get anymore rest b4 playing the flakers
GO ROCKETS, GO TEXANS, GO ASTROS (EVEN THOUGH THEY SUCK)!!!
mmm i really don't understand that...
… does anyone else get why there was a 4 day break between game 2 and game 3?
Dave, thanks for providing a picture of a broom to enhance the humiliating sweep. It was a nice touch.
Dave
it was a nice sportsmanlike idea to thank the Lakers for sweeping the Jazz. I am just not that nice. I can’t bring myself to thank the Lakers for anything. I am however giddy that the off season no longer includes the Jazz or the Spurs.
Now, for the remainder of the offseason I will make prayers and blood sacrifices that no one in Rockets management gets the idea that Carlos Boozer would look good in a Rocket uniform.
Boozer is a choker
I’ve noticed in the past few years, he doesn’t come thru in the playoffs. He makes mistakes late in games.

But,but,but
Utah didn’t have their starting Center or highest paid player!
How could anyone possibly expect them to compete, much less win a couple of games?
Rockets have heart
Even when everything looked down, they always pushed the Lakers, something the Jazz are lacking
Why Jazzholes?
Now, please don’t ask why; no one quite knows the reason. It could be, perhaps, that his their shoes were too tight. Or it could be that his head wasn’t their heads weren’t screwed on just right. But I think that the most likely reason of all may have been that his heart was their hearts were two sizes too small.
And Keith-- darn it, change your name! It's not scary, and I'm embarassed to say it. Boris, Try that. Keith, you know, OH, watch out for KEITH!
