I'm torn
does rooting for the Jazz make me a bad person? I know we’re supposed to hate them, and I usually do, but against the Lakers and that unbearable face Kobe makes when he’s trying to seem tough I couldn’t help but pull for Utah. I’m considering just lighting myself on fire and getting it over with.

i hate the jazz but i loathe the lakers. so overrated in their analysis and always seem to have the homecourt advantage cuz laker fans are everywhere. not to mention they really do get lots of whistles in their favor and we all know the league does help them out. FUCK DA DAMNED LAKERS!!!!

I actually respect Kobe so I don’t care as much if they beat the Jazz. Plus if the Jazz beat the Lakers that’s just going to make the Jazz fans more annoying.

I understand the Laker hate
But we hate the Lakers more for their fair-weather fans and sense of entitlement. Besides, Kobe is kind of a badass. Meanwhile, the Utah Jazz just suck. In every way.
The Jazz DO suck in every way.
But until you admit what you know in your heart is true, that Kobe is simply appalling, you’ll never grow as a person.

I’m still mad we didn’t pull the trigger on the T-Mac for Kobe trade that WAS on the table when Carroll Dawson was still calling the shots. Morey would have done that instantly.

Kobe is a great player that I will never be able to like. Never. And deep in my heart, I’m really glad there are no “Kobe” Rockets jerseys. Despite the undeniable basketball sense the trade would have made.

Phil Jackson is 49-0 after winning game 1 in a seven game series. So this one is ova! Not like I could ever bring myself to actually root for the Jazz…that goes against everything in my being!!

If you do not want to root for the Jazz...
Then you can do what I’m doing and root against both the Jazz and the Lakers. Sure, I lose no matter which team goes on, but it just feels right rooting against both.

The media overhyped Denver (and also Dallas)
not realizing their worthlessness. Sports writers should read The Dream Shake.
Is there any way BOTH teams can be knocked out of the playoffs?

I'd like to see these team score a collective 20 points a quarter.
Historically I hate Utah, and have always hated Utah. At one time (long ago) I really enjoyed the Lakers (except when against the Rockets). But now? God, I really don’t like these Lakers, and the Jazz are the Jazz (but they have one guy I really like).

I liked the Lakers
when they had Magic. Except when they played us.
Both Lakers and Jazz sucks...
