No, this has nothing to do with Hakeem! Anyway I was reading hoopsworld and some person asked one of the experts about this possible deal.
"Do you think a 3 way trade could be in the works with houston toronto and minny? Houston gets bosh and rubio Toronto gets jefferson Minny gets Hill, Battier and Knicks picks"
So I would change it up a bit like this:
HOU gets: Bosh, Rubio
MINN gets: Hill, David Andersen, Llull, 1st rounder this year
TOR gets: Al Jeff, Ariza
Why Houston does it - Houston gets the man they covet in Bosh, and also there 3rd PG, and a guy with tremendous potential (I believe Morey tried to trade up to get him in the draft). They give up Ariza, Hill, DA, Llull and a 1st rounder, but that is a small price for them to pay. Houston gets to keep there team captain and really don't lose much at all. Houston also gets to keep Jeffries who come FEB, will be a huge deadline chip that they can ship off for more pieces (but if he needs to be added in then it is ok).
Why Minny does it - They replace Jefferson with Hill. They get a solid 8th man in David Andersen, Llull who has played better than Rubio when playing aginst each other, and a 1st roudner this year to help rebuild.
Why TOR does it - Bosh was unlikely to stay anyway so they get Al Jeff who is worse but not by soooo much. They also pick up ariza who is a nice piece to add with Al Jeff.
Houston's roster after this trade (assuming Scola and Lowry are resigned):
PG - Brooks, Lowry, Rubio (maybe needs 1 or 2 more years)
SG - Martin, Budinger, Taylor
SF - Battier, Jeffries
PF - Bosh, Scola
C - Yao, (Bosh), Hayes
They could try and sign Brad Miller too, to fill out the roster.
Well this deal is very unlikely but what do you guys think?
