Slightly off-topic but not really...

The Astros had three picks in the amateur baseball player draft yesterday.  They took a light-hitting fast guy #8 overall... a guy who was not even projected to go Top 50 (and who wants to go to college first) at #19... and then topped it off by taking another freakin' catcher - but with the intent of switching him to 3B on a whim.  Nicely done, Uncle Drayton.

The good news?  There is now no way Daryl Morey and the Rockets could possibly do worse on June 24th.  And if they do, most of the world will not notice because they will be busy waiting in line for the new iPhone 4 anyway.
