Just some silly points to bring up.

First, it looks like no Chandler for the Rockets.  He has been traded to Toronto in the Hedo dump with Phoneix involved.

Also in Schulmun's power rankings apparently have have jumped +6 points in the rankings this summer.  Considering the fact that the only thing that has changed on our end is getting Pat-Pat, and building in Yao back on the team, my guess is the rest of the change comes from no loosing a big FA, like Utah, Phoenix and Cleveland, as well as not screwing anything up (which honestly is what we have been best at recently amid all of the overpaying for lesser talent).

I don't remember where we were in the old power rankings on Yahoo but my guess is we are now in the top 5 in the West. La, OKC, Portland, Denver and Houston being my top five with Dallas and SA being close as well.

So does anyone have ANY news on a Yao backup.  With all the depressing posts on Hill's subpar performances in summer camp (I guess he isn't good at arts and crafts as well as rope swing) there has been no news of Miller signing or anything else out there.  I guess Miller is holding still until all his offers are in and Miami is looking for a center so who knows what will happen there.  But if anyone has some unofficial, offiicial or even a lying the ass off source on this let us all know.
