Get The Red Out - Episode #6: Nothing is Certain But Death & Luxury Taxes

In this weeks edition of Get The Red Out, I discuss the new contracts for Luis Scola, Kyle Lowry & Brad Miller. As well as the ridiculous roster depth and my views on the latest trade rumors. And, just for fun, I bash the trio of idiots in Miami at the end.

Thanks for listening.

i love the show

don’t get me wrong, but I think a cool idea would be to have a 2nd guy do a show with you…that way it can be a longer podcast, and it can be a conversation instead of a monologue…just a thought

Two things

I don’t find too many people I agree with to do the show with regularity. And I’m not sure how to do a guest. Because I would like to have guests sometime. I’m supposed to hangout with Diehard Chris here pretty soon and he’s going to teach me.

Thanks for listening though.

I'd be willing to do one with you

Schedules permitting of course

Well, you don't *have* to do it with someone you agree with.

After all, a key tenet of journalism (or debate) the the ability to engage in discussion with someone with which you disagree. Ideally, that way those of use who simply leech off of your ideas and arguments will get the benefits of two different perspectives instead of just one. And then we can decide which one we agree with more. And then you make sure that we agree with you more, since it is your podcast.

I plan on having both

Tom and UofTOrange on once I figure out how to do it. I’ve been pretty lazy trying to figure it out. My plan always was to have guests over a co-host.

production quality

Yo Mike,
I like listening to your incite and i hope you continue to contribute to this site and continue making podcasts, but dude, the production value on your recordings are atrocious. It makes it almost unlistenable on my home stereo and completely unlistenable on my bike commute. You need to properly use noise gates and compressors in your post-production. If your hesitant on how that stuff works, I have a bit of background in audio recording and wouldn’t mind helping you out with it. PM me if you’re interested. (I’m not looking for compensation)

What do you expect

with just a microphone and a PC? It’s just something I do for fun. Not expecting to win any awards or anything off of it.

If i’m not mistaken Llull’s name is pronounced (youll) with the first 2 Ls being silent

No worries

Looking forward to the next one!

Me too

because that means one of two things:

1) We made a trade big enough to have a show about
2) It’s training camp/media day
