It didn’t take long in the comment section of the Knick’s blog for the Knicks fans to start knuckling up to Houston. NY hates Houston. They will always hold that grudge. See, with Chicago they get over it because of MJ, but with Houston they don’t appreciate The Dream or the rest of the players from that era like Drexler or Big Shot who earned those Championships. NY feels like they were entitled to it then, and that Houston basically stole it from them, like we were a fluke.
Seriously, Knick fans are already on edge with anything about the Rockets. If the Rockets get Melo with their hearts set on it, they’re going to act like the Rockets stole that from them too. And it’ll get even worse if Houston manages to keep one of those picks that leads to a high first rounder. Their dislike and distrust of the Rockets will turn into pure hatred. For some of them it already looks like it has.
