Which Rocket would love to have a fight with and/or hate to have a fight with?
Damnit it is too boring and I wish there was some news to talk about. Since there isn't I will continue to think of some shit we can have fun conversations about, even if they suck sometimes.
Anyway, I would love to get in a fight with Kyle Lowry. We are the same height and weight and we have the same way of playing basketball. I think I could take him in a UFC cage and pull out a victory. I have a mean streak both when fighting and in basketball just as Lowry does so I think it would make for a very even and entertaining match up.
The guy I would hate to get into a fight with is Aaron Brooks. The guy is too damn fast and quick and that is something I struggle against mightily. I of course with my 6' 205lb frame would have the strength advantage but he seems like one of those guys who just won't give you a chance to take advantage. If he made a mistake and I slow him down with the ground game I would win it. But if he imposes his will with that speed he has then I would stand no chance.
Now it's you guys' turn. Which Rocket would you love to get in a fight with and why? Whick Rocket would you hate to get into a fight with and why? Respnses please........

Bob Sura
Every time I see that guy at the Toyota Center for home games I get angry. I just hate him so much. Mostly because he got paid for a season by the Rockets that he never suited up for. Round house that guy to the face. Round One…FIGHT!

what?
How do you hate Bob Sura? That guy was awesome and nearly killed himself just to play that one year with the Rockets.
what? Bob sura was awesome when he played
are you kidding? i have to endure David Wesley and Marc Jackson as starters
Yeah, I liked Sura as well.
He had some good moments, wasn’t as bad a player as many would think he is.
I think you'd be a fool to want to fight any Rocket, especially Lowry.
These guys are the top 1% of 1% of athletes in the world. They are also really shockingly big. Have you every played ball even with some top program NCAA players? It’s an eye opening experience. Now multiply that by 50.
Speaking of that, I was once eating breakfast at the Avalon diner. These three huge dudes walked in. Big guys. Totally cut. Despite being friendly and just wanting breakfast they looked slightly menacing.
Steve Francis, Cuttino Mobley, Moochie Norris. Yeah. The “tiny” guys.

this post wuz just to
keep us entertained for a little bit. this is just a slow time in the nba
GO ROCKETS, GO TEXANS, GO ASTROS (EVEN THOUGH THEY SUCK)!!!
Hmmm...
Player I’d love to fight: Manute Bol, I think I could take him, since he passed and all, it’d be an easy win.
If I had to pick someone currently alive, I’d love to take on Greg Oden. He’s much bigger than me but he ended Mutombo’s career and hopefully rage counts.
Player I’d hate to fight? Jermaine O’Neal, for anyone not sure why, watch the fight at Auburn Hills and check out the Falcon Punch style shot he laid on some fan.
I'm always right, this isn't conjecture, merely statement of fact.
thats cold trying to fight a dead dude.
O’Neal does seem pretty scary. Something about the eyes…
Also
Totally disregarded that it’s Rockets to fight, but still… There was no limit on how fair the fight had to be, I assume by going to his grave to pay respects I could claim I beat the crap out of him.
Also, it’s one of my life goals to punch a whale in front of a whale watching tour, so you can infer from that what I’d consider a fair fight.
I'm always right, this isn't conjecture, merely statement of fact.
You forget...
Manute Bol beat down the Fridge in a celebrity boxing match.

hate to fight Chuckwagon. You just know he is going to rearrange my face in all sorts of ways. The guy is too strong and dense for me to try and make a dent. That and I am slow and old (33) and haven’t been in a fight since 5th Grade. But that kid really had it coming for sure. That punk.
Love to fight, Paul Pierce. Ok, not a Rocket, but I really don’t hate any of the Rockets and Pierce is such a DB. Of course, he would probably still pound me into the dirt but at least I would get to call him “pubes face”, “tampon face” or some other 5th grade name before I got pounded.
I guess I have lots of issues about 5th grade don’t I?
Most dangerous 5 man NBA fighting team
The Denver Nuggets (substituting Rondo for Chauncey)
The Thuggets are just built to brawl, no doubt about it….but with a name like Chauncey, he belongs at Exeter or some other boarding school, rowing in his cardigan, rather than fighting with JR Smith and Co…
I’d like to see Matt Maloney kick the shit out of all of his detractors on this site. He wasn’t the best dribbler or penetrator but he could flat out shoot the lights out of a gym until the game is being played in the dark and he’s the only one with X-ray goggles.

oops. night vision goggles. x-ray doesn't really make sense
but then, neither did my original post.

I would hate to fight Scola!
Dude is a savage on the court and seems to have that tenacity in his personality as well. Other than Yao, this is why I think he’s the most valuable asset to the Rockets. Every team needs a bulldog and Scola is just that. And yes, I would like to fight Jeff Van Gundy, please. Can I do that?
yes, thanks JVG for making us really boring and slow despite having the best inside / outside combo outside of Shaq and Kobe

that, and he is really annoying when he announces
except for his continual promotion of Battier. That makes up for a lot
