This Is What I Think Of The NBA Lockout
What a bunch of morons. At the end of the day, Derek Fisher's final speech will surely sound something like this:
Canada on Strike
Get More: SOUTH
PARKmore...

The players can end this whenever they want
If you think the owners are unreasonable, that’s fine. But the players are still being offered to play for an average salary north of $5 million. They’ll be ok and the victim card they’ve tried to play the last few days is just stupid.
I’m frankly just pissed off that both sides couldn’t be adults and make a freaking compromise. It’s hard to pick sides in this issue, but I, like every other NBA fan, just wants to see some basketball.

Can The Dream Shake - the best fans in the league...
help support our own cause as fans?

As TheChuckWagonIsRolling States below, he can barely afford a couple nosebleed seat games. I come up from Corpus Christi, so on top of paying for seats, merch, food, I also pay for fuel, hotel stays, etc.
We hold the purse strings. I’ve had a tough time getting people to “like” the fan page, but I think it’s something we should all take ownership of, and I have about 5 admins. We’re struggling to get our message out there…
Can The Dream Shake help?
The owners can end this whenver they want too
You act like it’s the player’s responsibility to take whatever the owners are willing to give them.
I don’t think the owners are unreasonable to want as much money as they can possibly get, but neither are the players for not wanting to take a significantly larger pay-cut then they already are.
Tom IS right that the Union heads are going to look really dumb if they can’t get the owners to go at least a little higher than 47%.
The worst the players will get is 50%
The Owners for all intents and purposes offered 50% to the players, it just wasn’t a formal offer. If the players agreed to 50/50, the owners would be ecstatic.
The fact is that it’s idiotic to hold out for a few hundred million when you’ll lose at least as much by not making a deal. Both sides are just entrenched out of pride right now.

I know... it's a stretch.
The Dream Shake ...on Twitter.

So true Tom, so true...
what a shame. They argue about their millions, and I can’t afford to go to more than one or two games in the nosebleed section

Ill tell u whats worse...
i cant even see the video coz im not in america. i have to preorder NBA games on the xbox or else none will b sent to the shop but ive not bought it whats the point i have to same rosters in last years game only some my player tweeks and legend games will b the difference.
this year i am not going to buy the international league pass to watch the games mostly out of spite. ive stopped goin to NBA.com coz only news they tell me is people are still fighting and nonewhere close to anything. i still come here daily tho for some reason.
Ive even started watching american football which is interesting but ive no grasp on rules/plays or what the hell they keep saying! My point bein the NBA is destroying its international fanbase i mean over here theres so many other sports that can easily replace NBA (because of the time its on, trouble getting full stories) theres the eircom league premiership and champions league, heineken cup and magners league, eurobasket, Gaelic football and hurling aswell as others such as golf, tennis, F1.
My point is im not sure what its like in america but over here the few fans i no are extremely angry that there is no basketball because of fights over money and casual fans will be lost so surely its very bad business. aaarrrgggghhhh #endrant

We will have to teach you this American football
It’s quite entertaining. You tell me how rugby works, i’ll teach you how football works.

the hard part, as a rockets fan
is that two of our three most valuable players are at a point in their careers where they can’t waste time sitting around until a season starts. Martin and Scola are just getting older, and they are not going to be half as valuable in a year or two, so capitalizing on their strengths now is really important.
Wafer . . . again. (Marv Albert, HOU v. CLE Feb 2009)
-one of the FEW at Toyota Center who has the Wafer jersey
at least i get the opportunity to beast it up at 2k12
and save money on buying league pass
