If you read what Melo has been saying lately, it gives the impression that Denver is not out of the question for him. I see more and more about how he cares about the city and fans. Somehow I tend to believe he is sincere about that. He talks about having a chance to win and lets face it, when Denver is healthy they can play with anybody. And on top of all that, to rip off one of my favorite movies, "were not talking about money here, were talking about a shitload of money here".
This could get really complicated if he does stay. I would guess it would come down to the wire time wise. It could make for an insane few hours after the word got out.
So the question is, what does Morey and every other GM looking to make a deal do if it starts looking like Melo stays in Denver. Someone will have to fire the first shot, do you take what you can get or hold out and possibly get left out?
