just and idea with Ron Artest

So with Ron Artest reportedly wanting out and Mitch Kupchak reportedly shopping for someone to bring to the team seeking a 3-peat, I think this gives the Rockets an oppurtunity to get a good center. What Artest brings most to the Lakers is his great defense and perimeter shooting. The Rockets, in my opinion, have a logjam at the SF position and giving up Battier to the Lakers would be fine if we could get a good center.

The Lakers get an experienced, really good defender with Shane Battier and they probably wouldn't mind giving Artest up for him

We could let Budinger's and T-Will's potential grow and talented swingman Courtney Lee will probably get more minutes.

We probably won't be able to snag a Kevin Love or Andrew Bynum but we could go out and get a Javale McGee, Marcus Camby, or maybe even Demarcus Cousins.

We give up Brooks and Battier for Demarcus Cousins.

Sacremento get's alot in this deal and I think they would pull the trigger on this one.

I honestly like Aaron more than Lowry but we really need a center.

What do y'all think?
