Books and Scola for Chris Bosh?

Wouldn't this trade make sense? The heat needs a post player and a point guard that can shoot but doesn't demand the ball too much since they already have two of the best ball handlers in the league. Rockets get a superstar they badly need. Add fillers to make the money work out and it's a win win. Then come off season drop Yao and Jeffrey's contracts and sign Howard or CP4.

No cursing in title. No pirated material, such as links to online game streams. Do not cut/paste entire sections of content from other websites. Thanks.

you missed the articulate, and constructed criticism part

Bring evidence to substantiate your point. By saying it’s stupid without reasoning just goes to show how ignorant you are.
Think before you post.
And sorry that i miss spelled. But yall know who i am talking about.

by AND2 on Feb 23, 2011 10:18 PM CST up reply actions

To substantiate my point

To be stupid a point must be irrational or implausible. Your idea is irrational or implausible because:
1.) The salaries would not match up.
2.) The Heat are not seeking to move Chris Bosh.
3.) You have no knowledge of the salary cap information if you assume that losing Yao and Jeffries’s contracts would offset the salary added on by taking in Chris Bosh.
4.) Scola is a BYC player (If you don’t know what that is, you have no right to talk) and as such, much harder to trade.

Therefore your trade and scenario is implausible.

You (Noun) suck (verb).

I can substantiate this by the evidence of your post and your responses.

I will . This trade idea is very very stupid . Everybody here is has now lost IQ points because of this idea . The heat are not going to trade one of their big 3 after less then a season .

look, heat has too much over lapping talent

they need a low post player and pg, bosh isn’t a necessity for that team.

by AND2 on Feb 23, 2011 9:50 PM CST reply actions

Bosh is a worse low post player than Scola?

Bosh is just a big part of their thing right now.

It’s the “Big Three”. I cannot for the life of me see them getting rid of him, at least for the first year of this huge big three thing.

the heat would probably have around the same record with a mediocur PF

Bosh is only averaging 18pts, 8rebs and not playing defense. On the other hand, Scola has better averages with higher percentages. which means he is getting about the same number of touches as Bosh if not less.
i know Bosh is more of a go to guy and just a better player overall, but that’s not how the heat is utilizing him. He is only there for some rebounding and a couple of possessions here and there. Scola could very well fulfill Bosh’s purpose on the Heat. This trade would make sense for both sides.

Well I don't know how BOOKS can help Miami

Unless they need to read up on how not to be douchebags. But I know BROOKS is better than what they have at PG right now.

Me against the world is a mismatch in my favor.

by batman713 on Feb 23, 2011 10:04 PM CST reply actions

Brooks isn't top tier or anything close to that

but he is definitely a lot better than what the Heat has right now. Albeit Brooks isn’t a great point guard per se, he does fit the Heat very well with Lebron being a point forward most of the game and D wade handling the ball rest of the time.

by AND2 on Feb 23, 2011 10:08 PM CST up reply actions

Miami would not do it

You are probably right that Brooks and Scola would fit in with Miami. And, of course, the Rockets could use Bosh. But Wade, Bosh and Lebron are buddies. They were the ones who made Miami by making a deal among themselves. Bosh could have probably got more money elsewhere. He went to Miami because his buddies Wade and Lebron wanted him. They would not allow Riley to trade Bosh.

What is the title?

Man, let´s go for it!

But I think Wade and Bron would be pretty upset because they would have to give up some of the shots. They like it just as it is now with both their pg´s taking a combined 10 shots or so…about half of Brooks might take:-)

Although this trade is highly implausible

It would make some sense. Houston needs an impact player like Bosh, and he’s not really doing this for Miami anyway. Scola would be a great go to scorer for LeBron and Wade when they’re on the bench. Brooks is exactly what they need at point, a PG that can score, not really handle the ball (as he shouldn’t).

Again, highly implausible, but I see where you’re coming from dude.

If anyone is still reading this

I’m a Kings fan and over on Sactownroyalty we have a weekly post around this time of year called the Asinine Trades Thread that soaks up a lot of these posts for speculation. One of the reasons I love that board is we don’t have to have fan posts dedicated to this.

by SPTSJUNKIE on Feb 24, 2011 11:18 PM CST reply actions

The problem is that over here

Most people think their asinine trade posts are legitimately beneficial.
