Nash out for PHX VS ORL
Steve Nash missed todays game against the Magic. Gentry said he is likely to miss tomorrow nights as well. talk about getting a break. i really really hope Nash does miss v Houston although it would be nice to see some Dragic V Nash. but atleast with Brooks getting the start we get 30+ minutes of Lowry V Brooks - The Ultimate showdown.
Aaron Brooks had a good game 19pts and 10ast in his first start, but didnt score and only had 3ast in the second half. good to see him clicking with a new team.

I somehow think that phx is still gunna hurt us somehow.
It won’t be mighth mouse but someone on that roster (carter, gortat) is gunna come up big for them.
Not sure why but I just don’t have a good feeling about this one.

Opposing power forwards usually get a chance to have career nights.
Mostly because our interior defense is a revolving door since our guards let people into the middle, pull anyone over 6’6" we have away from the basket, and opposing PFs are smart enough to dive to the basket.

He had 10 assists???
It must be the apocalypse.
"Hakeem couldn't kick your ass cuz you were too
close kissin his!"- Sir Charles to Kenny Smith.
Pre injury he was hovering around 9 or so per game.
That happens when your team actually converts on the passes you make.

Kyle is averaging 6.6 as a starter.... I guess the team does covert.
Rockets are also #5 as a team in assists….. so I dont get your quote BD34
That happens when your team actually converts on the passes you make.
So you cite the assist totals rather than assist rate and conversion rate.
The Rockets are one of the highest scoring teams in the NBA with no ball dominator, it only stands to reason that they would have a high assist total. Before Aaron got hurt his assist averages were above his 5 per game average and closer to 8 per game because of Yao’s reliability. Then they both went down.
As far as the team actually converting on the passes made, the Suns are a better shooting team across the board and have an above the rim game that also opens up easy assists. Guys like Chris Paul and Steve Nash get bloated assist totals because they manage to have team mates that convert the easy points or don’t blow assist possibilities by hucking bad shots.
So yes, use your lump sum totals to try to prove efficiency/rate, it doesn’t quite work.

Look below, Brooks average 5.9 assists per game, now even less
I dont know where you are getting 8-9?? Do you think Brooks for Drajic was a bad trade or what? Because last night proved it was a good one again.
I know the Rockets dont have an at the rim finisher to get easy assist numbers, but you make my point even better, cause the Rockets shoot better to get their assists.
I must have confused his first few games as averages
Mistakes happen. I wrote a whole bit up about the Brooks for Dragic trade so my opinion should be well known, your ignorance of it doesn’t deserve a quick answer. Individual night performances don’t generally prove much, especially when Dragic only logged 8 minutes, either, so continue blowing smoke out your ass, it won’t win anyone over.
As far as assist numbers, I contextualized your point and proved that you were using inherently flawed ideas to reach a conclusion, if your point is you’re trying to misguide people who don’t know better, then yes, I proved your point well.
