Who should we try to catch?
Ok, so with the Rockets streaking, we have a legit chance of making the playoffs as an 8th seed. However, the teams in front of us are also doing arguably as well as us. It seems that whenever the Rockets are doing well this season, the teams above us go off. My question is, who should we be rooting to lose in front of us?
| New Orleans7 | 40 | 31 | 0.563 | 17.0 | 22-20 | 8-4 | 24-11 | 16-20 | 5-5 | L 1 |
| Memphis8 | 40 | 32 | 0.556 | 17.5 | 24-19 | 5-8 | 25-10 | 15-22 | 6-4 | W 3 |
| Houston | 38 | 34 | 0.528 | 19.5 | 22-24 | 4-9 | 22-14 | 16-20 | 7-3 |
W 5 |
The Hornets schedule is:
@ Utah (go Jazz?)
@ Phoenix (we can root for Aaron Brooks again)
@ LA Lakers (Kobe.)
vs Portland (well, they are good)
vs Memphis (can both teams lose this one?)
vs Indiana (freaking Pacers have a 32-40 record and are the 8th seed in the east)
vs Houston (possible tiebreaker could be used if we win?)
vs Phoenix (again)
@ Memphis (again)
vs Utah (again)
@ Dallas (Dirk.)
The Grizzlies schedule is:
@ Chicago (damn, the Bulls are good, this should be fun to watch)
San Antonio (they better win)
Golden State (upset?)
@ New Orleans (..)
Minnasota (upset again)
LA Clippers (Griffin better posterize somebody)
Sacramento (damn, the Kings are bad. upset please?)
New Orleans (..)
@ Portland (forget them)
@ LA Clippers (do it again, Blake)
And as for our own schedule
@ Heat (pray with me)
@ New Jersey (we're good against them)
@ Philadelphia (not too good against them)
San Antonio (upset)
Atlanta
Sacremento (they are soooo bad)
@ New Orleans (we need this)
LA Clippers (Chuck go to work)
Dallas (Dirk.)
@ Minnesota (Kevin Love can play amazing and they will still lose)
so what do yall think? can we do it?

all of the above is correct, as long
as we don’t have a first round match-up with LA
Funny how Memphis' ****-up has become Houston's obsession
Because playing LA is like playing
8 on 5. They will get every 50/50 call especially in the 4th. History has shown this. Just ask Rick if you don’t believe me.
Me against the world is a mismatch in my favor.
without a doubt....
ABC would probably protest if LA isn’t in the finals.

We want SA not LA
With the injury to Duncan messing up there groove and two good defensive point guards to slow up Parker we have a better chance of beating the Spurs. Martin will get killed by Manu, but we can bring in Lee to slow him up. Hayes is capable to slow up Duncan some, and if Scola can’t do it, i want to see Patterson on him.

We've managed to beat LA and LA is still Regular Season LA in the playoffs.
San Antonio has beaten us every time and is not the same San Antonio in the playoffs. We don’t want San Antonio.
TDS's resident dickhead.
All i will say is Kobe Bryant,
and the fact they have two seven footers. We are not big up front and SA is smaller then the lakers with Duncan at the five. I never said Duncan was not going to playIoffs, and Courtney Lee makes the free throw we beat SA in SA. Then they can come in with Odom who is also long, and they have Artest who is way bigger then Bud. If we play good d like of late we can beat both teams, but our best bet is against the Spurs

Duncan will be back
I would much rather face LAL than the Spurs. For some reason, the Rockets play better against the Lakers. Besides, I’d feel better rooting against LAL than against SAS because I’d like to see the Spurs win it all this year. I am tired of Kobe prancing around and I sure don’t want to see Lebron win. I am tired of those two.
As long as we get in...I don't care la or sa

like others said, just keep winning and the rest will work itself out
if we are targeting 45-37, this means we can lose three more games. looking at our schedule, this will be MIA, SAS and DAL (although hopefully at least one of the TX teams will be resting their stars towards the end of the regular season).
that means we will have to beat PHI and ATL, which would be the toughest wins in that group.

you dont think@ New Orleans is tougher than
@ Philly or Hawks@ home?

Lets not fool us into thinking any of these game are definitely winnable
We are at almost certain disadvantage against all of them, we need to beat all the teams we can to catch up
I am working myself up
to try and truly pretend that I hope the Jazz will win a ball game. Damn I am not sure I can do it. I know I couldn’t if I had to watch the game.
But, I do think that overtaking NOH as they fall may be easier than chasing down the Grizzlies.
I dont think it matters
Unless you plan on personally assasinating one of their players then I vote Gasol.
I think you can just for him into suicide by having him play the Nets all the time
Can you imagine how Lamar feels every time he plays play Kris Humphries
Knowing that he makes more money and a being a higher profile public figure and yet got the worst looking Kardashian-attention whore
Geez, have some standards batman
Khloe is not acceptable sir
If she got naked in your face you would do her too
Don’t lie.
Me against the world is a mismatch in my favor.
No lie
not even a little, she inspires no sex drive in me
I find it hard to believe for the simple fact that
We all have thought about doing some chick even if she isn’t hot. We may not admit to it in public be we can’t lie to ourselves. Just keeping it real here. Besides, she knows she can get man with no problem.
Me against the world is a mismatch in my favor.
Those days are long gone
to each his own, but really, not even from a carnal standpoint for me. It’s not a last chick on earth scenario, but it’ll have to go down to that.
Each team has different schedules.
Nola has 5-6 toss up games where they
1) go either way
2) Nola isnt favored.
Memphis has maybe 4. Plus 1 maybe just random loss.
If we win 2-3 of our own tossups with wins over Memphis and Nola I think we do make the playoffs.
David West just made it clear.
hope he comes back.
