I haven't looked at the figures yet, but does anyone know if the Grizz will be able to resign Gasol? I know he's only making less than $4/year right now, I think. And Battier's contract comes off their books too. I heard that they are over the luxury but not sure. So with the signing of Randolf and assuming that the salary cap will probably be less next year due tot the new CBA, could the Grizz match an offer for Gasol, say, $45 mil for 4 years? Is that too much? My point is, I want Gasol, and we can offer a lot...more than the Grizz can. But i'm not sure if we do offer more than the Grizz can match, would we be then overpaying? And all this is assuming Gasol wants outa there obviously...
