Somebody Has A Birthday Today
Today is grungedave's birthday. As such, I think it would be appropriate to wish him well in the comments.
Also, someone gave Rafer Alston a head coaching gig. Thought these two pieces of news coincided nicely.

Happy Birthday dave!
May this be the last you celebrate with the Rockets in the Lottery!
Happy Birthday Dave
I hope Rafer fails as a high school coach, too. Wouldn’t that be the best birthday gift of all? Plus strippers and beers, as Mike stated.
How many Biletnikoffs does he have? NOT TWO!
Enjoy yourself
while getting a year older is still cause for celebration! Eventually it gets to be a case of diminishing returns.
Happy Birthday?
Jeez, didn’t he just have his birthday last year?
I had to stop arguing with drunks, Steeler fans, and all other fools.
It was making my brick wall jealous...
yup
And the 32 years before that, too…
to think I was born like 2 weeks after Star Wars was released… the real star wars
As opposed to what other Star Wars Dave
I for one am still wondering why Lucas made episodes 4-6 first. I wonder if he’ll ever make episodes 1-3.

I thought 2 was decent.
3 was also fairly decent.

There is not an actor worse
than Hayden Christiansen. Not a one.
But even a good Anakin couldn’t have saved those movies.

Yeah he is really bad.
Thought the plots were good though.

We have to agree to disagree there
But I did think a basic flaw of the films was that we (the audience) knew exactly what was going to happen, especially in episode 3. Whereas 4-6 were fresh and new and gave us twists we didn’t expect (Vader was Luke’s father, Lando double-crossing Han), the “twists” in 1-3 weren’t surprising at all.

I'm not sure if it's a good birthday when the Jazz move up to #3 in the draft.
Could be worse though.

Best birthday advice ever. Enjoy the day man. Tomorrow it’s right back to getting tea-bagged by your clients.

You know all those jokes about “I have this $100M case… and blah blah blah”
Well, I just got put on a $100M case as the guy who has to prep the expert witness on all the technical details. Yikes.
You're leading the rock and roll lawyer life.
We’ll get ya a couple prostitutes and a bottle of Scotch and make a night of it, yea?

Maybe you can be like one of those wacky lawyers on that show TNT keeps pushing during the playoffs.
Or you can go do a great job on your case instead. Good luck and happy birthday.

You mean Franklin and Bash?
Because I know that they’re two young, fly-by-the-seat-of-their-pants street lawyers who cause a seismic culture clash when they join a legendary, button-down law firm. Breckin Meyer is Jared Franklin, who loves sticking it to authority every chance he gets, while Mark-Paul Gosselaar plays Peter Bash, who has a knack for connecting with jury and judge.
Premiering June 1 at 8/7c.

There are two kinds of lawyers, those who know the law and those who know the judge.

Happy birthday, dave
Hope springs eternal that our beloved Rockets will start climbing out of mediocrity soon. I know that has to be one of your birthday wishes—maybe way down the list, but still …
Thanks for being one of those who made TDS what it is today.
