Around SBN: NFL Players Ready To Welcome Gay Teammate

NBA Finals?

As you all know, the NBA Finals are upon us.  Sadly enough our Houston Rockets will not be on the court.  Out of all the teams in the league it had to be these two teams in the finals.  One team with a hated city and the other with a hated player(or more than one depending on where you're from).  I'm too much of an NBA fan to not watch the finals, but i'll definitely be watching strictly for basketball entertainment only.  More mindless droning after the jump. Here we goooooooo......

Star-divide

I tried picking a team to root for but I just couldn't do it.  Even trying to pick the lesser of two evils doesn't help me out because I keep thinking of "The Decision", Dwyane Wade causing Rondo's arm to dislocate, Carl Landry's teeth in Dirk's arm and the entire city of Dallas. And is it just me or does Chris Bosh remind you of a velociraptor?  Anyways I'd like to know if any of you guys, or gals, have been able to pick a team to root for or at least have predictions or comments.  I predict this to be the most evil finals this century, all that's missing is evil Stewie and Peter's evil twin brother Thaddeus.  I pick the Heat to lose in not 4, not 5, not 6, not 7... Okay, maybe i'm getting a little carried away, but you get my point. I think Mavericks wins in 6.

Oh yea, where are you all going, if anywhere, to watch the game?

It doesn't matter to me who wins.

I like the crafty vets vs. young athletes matchup. I think it’ll be a good one.

As long as it not Ledouche

and those assholes from South Beach.

The player I would like least at #9 would be my sister’s cat, Captain Creamsicle. She does have a great work ethic and agility, but I’m really concerned that at 9 lbs., she’s too small to play safety in the NFL. She also bites way too often on play action and is easily distracted by someone waving string in the crowd. Lastly, her wonderlic score was pretty awful, answering "meow meow meow" for most of the questions- Dr. Brackish Okun

Gotta go for Dallas.

Not a fan of Dallas, but it’s just basically choosing the lesser of two evils

The only thing I don't like about Miami winning is that it reenforces the idea that superstars have to team up from here on out to win championships.

If Dallas wins, superstars may look to follow their lead and go to teams with strong team play which benefits our search for a superstar.

I went with Chicago and OKC still have a chance because it's impossible.

And I like those odds.

Gotta be Dallas over Miami

Miami in 6

maybe 5 if they can get 2 Bennet Salvatore games in those first 5. Personally I will not be rooting for either.

Welcome to Houston Kevin McHale. Just remember "It was Minnesota" is no longer an excuse.

I really don't like Dallas

We always have chippy games with them, so I say go Miami. I would root for any team playing Miami except Dallas and Utah.

Since I'm not from Texas and I can't in good conscience root for player collusion (The Threetards)

I gotta pull for Dallas. Dirk has shown a “no bullshit” attitude lately, I’m all for him getting a ring.

Yea, I have no problem with Dirk off the court

Sure I hate him when he’s playing against the Rockets, but I enjoy watching him play and I never see him and think about him being a bad person or really dirty player.

you hope the heat fail

Don’t mind LBJ’s attitude but don’t like Wade’s at all.

Watch Wade closely

And you will see a lot of dickish things he does.

Me against the world is a mismatch in my favor.

I never thought of Wade that way. I will be watching him closely now.
What kind of dickish things?

He is a sneaky flopper

And gets away with many of those fouls where there’s a crowd and he knows the refs can’t see him.

Me against the world is a mismatch in my favor.
