Bring back Murph!!

For anyone who remembers the glory days of C.Murph and Warrell collab'ing to call games on TV, you ought to know where I'm coming from. I'm sorry but Clyde just doesn't do it for me, listening to him call a game is almost an insult to my basketball intelligence. Maybe I shouldn't go that far but half of his comments throughout the game are either just repeating what Bill has already said or using the same old worn out phrases (ex: "It's gonna be real hard for the Rockets to win this game unless they start scoring more points than the other team and playing better defense Bill"). Even Bullard is hard to listen to sometimes with his constant praise of Brad Miller throughout the games. I know they are both getting older and Leslie probably still hates Calvin's guts but who else thinks that Bill & Murph had some great chemistry on the air and wouldn't mind seeing them back together?

Note: The Rockets have not won a championship since C.Murphy was calling games... just saying...

I heartily agree that Clyde has to go...

Murphy was good imo

but I could never think of him the same way after his personal stuff came out.

Everyone has skeletons in their closet though.

If everyone’s personal lives really came out you wouldn’t look at anyone the same. We all do some kind of dirt whether we know it or not. We can’t like someone for what they are and then look at them different for a mistake(s) we found out they have made. I just disagree with your notion.

Me against the world is a mismatch in my favor.

Murphy was great

with his Apple Chevrolet keys to the game…
However, Bill and Van Chancellor was television gold and there needs to be a reunion.

I wasn't a huge Murphy fan

and that’s from a guy who doesn’t really believe much of the personal stuff. Yeah, he had a lot of kids with a lot of women, but that so do other players. It’s unfortunate, but it is what it is.

I loved that he wore suits more ridiculous than Craig Sager and always ate the cookies that were for him and Bill.

While we’re at it, let’s bring back Lisa Malosky, and in all seriousness I would kill for some Gene Peterson.
