They have brought me on as a contributing writer to TDS and I'm grateful for the opportunity. My friends, apparently it is possible to aimlessly wander your way into upward mobility. If you follow Tom on Twitter you knew this was coming. I appreciate the collective groan ahead of time.
Anyway, I figure I should at least let you know what I'll be doing around here. Aside from the usual rampant amount of immaturity, hubris, and taunting I actually have to contribute now. This might come as a shock to some readers that I can contribute. To others, I appreciate the kind words and support I've gotten. As for what I'll be contributing, my usual "essentially nothing", some columns as news provides, and a mailbag for user comments and questions to get the community a bit more involved with the content generation outside of the fanposts.
Mailbag suggestions can be submitted to tdsmailbag@gmail.com and during the summer, since news is slow, I was thinking I'll do them every couple of a weeks, if there's not enough content, then there won't be a mailbag for that term. The Mailbag e-mail will also be the e-mail by which you can contact me. Please mark any Mailbag questions with "Mailbag: " in the subject line. All death threats and what not will be recognized as personal e-mail.
No cursing in title. No pirated material, such as links to online game streams. Do not cut/paste entire sections of content from other websites. Thanks.

Not my first choice, but Im willing to see what you can do to make this place better. At the end of the summer, Ill make my full evaluation and then voice whether this was a good idea or not. I got this sweet job this summer, but it doesn’t start for another 2 weeks and pays like crap. So I’m working 12 hour shifts, 6 days a week over the next 2 weeks at the local golf course in the hot sun and it’s killing me. My ass has been torn out as well.
