Regarding The Hysteria

Lately, there has been much speculation on what the Rockets organization should do, regarding their roster. I happen to use the Rockets as my team in NBA 2K11, so I feel I am more qualified than probably anyone to dictate what this organization should do this off-season. Hell, I know I'm more qualified. Here's how our boys in red stack up at each position, regarding their notable players.

Star-divide

Point Guard: Kyle Lowry is solid at this position. However, I would move Goran Dragic to the starting position, since he is left-handed, and therefore a better shooter. Kyle's shot is unbelievably hard to control. It's like he triple-clutches every goddamn shot he takes. Lowry averages far more assists though. Despite the inconsistencies, I think the Rockets are balanced at this position.

Assessment: We're good

Shooting Guard: My Houston Rockets have the best duo in the league. I've got Kevin Martin averaging 62.3 points, and Courtney Lee averaging 28.1 points. Speed racer is also averaging over 8 rebounds. Don't ask me how, but he does.

Assessment: We're great

Small Forward: I once had Chase Budinger have 128 points in a game. It was unbelievable. His shot is a joy to control, but he'll get lit up nightly by whoever he's "guarding." Patrick Patterson sometimes plays SF, and he does a wonderful job. He could be more consistent with his jump shot, however. The real Rockets should consider playing him at this position. If he develops post moves, he can consistently overpower his opponents, while retaining the lateral slickness to defend quick offensive players. I would consider another offensive threat at this position.... (Iggy?)

Assessment: Meh

Power Forward: Luis Scola. Why won't you rebound? Why won't you get loose balls? It's exactly opposite of your real character. And who the hell is your backup? Chuck Hayes? Well that's fine, but he also can't rebound. In my game at least. I will say this: Chuck Hayes's three point buzzer beater was the highlight of my season. We desperately need size. And don't say Jordan Hill

Assessment: In real life? Not bad.... need some strength though

Center: Thank God Yao Ming isn't injured in my game. He averages about 7 blocks a game, 12.5 rebounds, and 10 points. If he could post these numbers in real life, I would weep tears of joy. Brad Miller is hilarious to control. He moves about as fast as a turtle on cocaine. I play speed racer as center on occasion, and I feel the Rockets should look into doing this. Since the real Rockets most probably won't have Yao, this remains the position of utmost attention.

Assessment: Bad. No defensive presence.... wtf Thabeet

Mad respect

Solid assessment of the team. I especially liked the part about the Rockets needing to play Kevin Martin at center more. Seriously, I think that’s why Adelman got fired. Couldn’t come up with creative strategies like that to squeeze some extra wins out of these guys.

Excelent job. I think you are more qualified than any of these so-called experts.

I respect you.

Kmart at center

Why did we not do this before.

He’s taller than chuck.
 He can shoot 3’s.
Could handle the guards on those pesky pick and rolls… Maybe.
Its like a better version of brian cook.
