But they also are said to be holding open the possibility of moving Al Jefferson in a larger deal if they can get Kanter, a deal that could net them a shooting guard, like Monta Ellis or Kevin Martin with Golden State at No. 11 and Houston No. 14. So then Utah would go big. NBA.com

Thought about creating a new fan post about proposterous trade ideas...

but figured it would piss too many people off. Oh well. As far as this little tidbit goes, if Kanter is their guy at 3, then Utah will be moving Jefferson. I offered a McHale/Jefferson reunion being inevitable, and I was shot down and made fun of. While I’m not saying this would be a great idea (including Martin), there’s really no telling what’s going to happen at this point. I know this is a rumor and this time of year there are thousands, but Utah’s need for a SG is undeniable. Definitely going to be interesting to see what happens.

Ya know…. You said a long time ago that you were done with me and reading my posts, and I think that was a great idea since we obviously disagree on everything. Honestly, I don’t appreciate your little, “stop it” or “don’t feed the troll” or “dont bother with him.” I am a reasonable person who’s open for discussion. You may find this really hard to believe, but I don’t post things on here to piss you off. I know that may sound like a shocker, but message boards unfortunately don’t revolve around Batman. If there’s something you want to discuss, then discuss. But the childish remarks are getting old. I’m not to say anything derogatory to someone over the internet, especially someone I don’t know. So if there’s something you would like to get off your chest about/towards me we can take care of the matter outside of TDS. I could probably make the time later this week.

It was the rumor. I cannot see a reason we need Jefferson nor Milsap when we are rebuilding with players at that position already. Those kinds of rumors nee to get shot down.

Yeah I agree

We already have Scola, Patterson, Chuck, Hill, and whoever we may get in the draft already (quite possibly a PF or C) so I personally wouldn’t do a trade to get Jefferson. I definitely wouldn’t do one for Millsap since I think Patterson will be better.
