Im hearing something about a rox lakers magic trade

on twitter i heard from the lakers Andrew Bynum, Pau Gasol, Matt Barnes, Luke Walton, Ron Artest, and Derrick Caracter would be involved Dwight Howard, Kevin Martin, Hedo Turkoglu, and Luis Scola. would be the others involved...... the deal would probably look something like

Rockets recieve: Pau gasol, and maybe caracter

Magic get: Martin Scola Bynum Barnes Metta

LA getting Howard and Turk

also, some of the lakers listed may go to different places or there may be more players involved to match salaries im not quite sure..

again we would be the third team involved and possibly starting another laker dynasty :( but we have length at PF and center and our defense looks good, really good! and we only give up martin and scola (unlike the other one were literally they were asking lowry marting scola patterson lee.............)

Our defense would be very good in this trade, lowry and lee our very good defenders parsons played good D and pau and Dalembert really clog up the lanes and give us good length.

i wudnt be suprised if this went down becuase daryl basically had the same thing lined up earlier this year, ex cept this one cant get vetoed (suck it stern)

Wld ya pull the trigger?

Okay, so the only stuff I can find on this on twitter is this dude:

here:
Until you hear it from someone credible (Woj, for instance) and not a guy running a third-rate NBA draft site (or, worse, random Lakers fan on twitter), don’t believe anything.

Some guy read on Yahoo! Sports that they're talking. You should ask him. Search Magic, Rockets, Lakers as tweet.

So Yahoo! Sports put up an article about a blockbuster trade, one dude on twitter noticed, and then they deleted it from the internet? Or did one dude on twitter make something up? Which of these is more likely?

I should try this some time.

I should just say “I’m hearing that the Rockets are in talks to get @KingJames!!! #OMG” and see what that does. It might help if I had followers who weren’t spam bots, though.

And I'm hearing somebody knows eff-all about the NBA on twitter

If you’re going to tout a fake trade, try not to do so for a trade impossible by NBA rules.
For example, teams can have only 15 players under contract. The Magic have 14 guaranteed contracts and one unguaranteed. If the Magic trade away two players, waive their unguaranteed player they can only accept THREE players, not FIVE! I know math is hard but this is pretty simple.
And it fails a second, more basic way. Teams under the LUX Tax can only trade for the lesser of 150% + $100,00 of the salaries they’re trading away,or 100% of salary + $5mil. Guess what, math raises its ugly head again. The Magic are trading away two players who make @ $31.3mil,and in this case they have to go the 100% + $5mil per player, for a max of $41.3mil. Since the players the Magic are supposed to be getting make $47.5mil this trade is illegal. Even if the Magic still has their Bass TPE,the only player that fits that is Barnes’ $1.9mil contract, which still leaves the Magic taking in $45.6mil which is over $5mil more than would be allowed.

So,this “insider” tweet ignores roster limitation rules and the rules on trading salaries.

C. Broussard

Said that the Lakers “Should” look to trade Pao and D. Morris For Kyle and Luis. on S.C. it’s not in talks or even a rumor. And, I wouldn’t even discuss that trade if I’m Houston.

I'm a household name... at my house.

Michael Vick is the best throwing running back of all time.

My put your name on it prediction for the Housotn Texans.
10-6, with a first round playoff upset over either the Ravens or Steelers.

Yeah, that was kind of amusing.

Rockets didn’t accept dealing Lowry two months ago when that was the reported asking price from the league (you know, so they could save face and not trade Paul to the Lakers), so why would they suddenly decide to deal Lowry when he’s having an awesome season and the team is doing well?

ummmmmm NO

the reason i liked the trade that was supposed to happen was we were apparently gonna get nene along with gasol, creating one of the best if not the best front-courts in the league to go with kyle lowry. That make us a 3rd or 4th seed in my mind but with only Gasol i don’t see much movement from the bottom of the playoff picture. Unless we can get a valuable draft pick from somewhere, i dont think this is in our best interests
