Makes sense
Before cap holds for draft picks, Rockets will have just over $14 million if they decline Hill, Williams, Flynn, and Thabeet and extend Lee a qualifying offer of $3.2 million.
That’s assuming a cap of $58 million (this year’s cap). It’ll probably be slightly larger, no?
The situation is this
Morey said the 09ers are being declined. The team options are all no-brainers besides Dalembert, who we owe something like $1.2m if we decline. I think I remember the cap is $60m next year, so it looks like we have around $15m to 21m available.
Total: $45,122,786
Martin: 12,939,675
Scola: 9,408,207
Dalembert: 7,000,000 (team option)
Lowry: 5,750,000
Lee: 3,221,933 (team option)
Patterson: 2,096,760
Morris: 2,021,280
Budinger: 942,292 (team option)
Parsons: 888,250
Adrien: 854,389
