NBA TV is terrible
Unless C Webb, Shaq and Kenny are on there…bunch of babbling fools. Bad programming too, nothing like watching Ahmad Rashad talk for the other 21 hours they aren’t showing a basketball game.

They really need a permanent studio crew that doesn't include Greg Anthony.
I watched one night when they couldn’t get the play-by-play audio for Chicago for the ten minutes or so, and so Ernie Johnson and Chris Webber just did the commentary. That was good.

I think the way McHale chooses line-ups is he will work with his 8-man core until something goes wrong. Then he will incorporate other players one at a time. First he had to incorporate Goran, Lee, then PPat. Tonight it’s CBud

Rockets simply decided to cut their losses early
Totally worth giving up a guy who can at least get you a double double to be spurned in FA.
Can’t wait for the excuses from the FO about how they didn’t think in a million years free agents (many of them mediocre) wouldn’t flood to Houston if they just had cap space.

They should be awesome, and they are sometimes, but they’re not most of the time
If playing for a contract makes Jordan Hill a better player for other teams, all the power to him
All I meant in what I said was simply this:
The Rockets are quitting on a guy as the light is going on who can give you something good in the hopes that some theoretical free agent will give them everything they ever hoped for. Recent history is a good indicator they won’t get what they want, but they’re still going to try it.

Whether or not Jordan Hill is “getting it” is debatable. What Jordan Hill currently brings is probably replaceable through draft or free agency
A star by any means necessary, it’s the same as trying to trade Lee, Dragic and any one on this roster

10 rebounds (good), 10 points on 11 shots (bad)
He has good games, he has bad ones, just like other players. He averages out to be somewhere around the middle. For $3.5 million, it’s okay to pay him next year, but the Rockets think they can do better. They probably can.
I bet they just negotiate a cheaper deal with him at the end of the season.

Last four games 28 of 44,.636, 8-10 FTs, 6.5 rebounds/game in 28.5 minutes a game.
yeah he's getting some of his shot back
Rockets seem to be resting him more now that Patterson seems to be getting back, too.
