Remember when we called him Landry 2.0 on this blog?
He’s playing like it, especially the whole “finishing out the game in place of Scola” thing. Now he just needs to lead the league in 4th quarter points…
Sonicsgate: A movie about how the Sonics were stolen from Seattle.
He's better at rebounding
And his shoot was already her when he came.
I really believe he can become better than Landry.
by RiiseRockets on Jan 30, 2012 7:55 PM CST up reply actions
Landry had those "intangibles" though.
He took the game over in the 4th, he was extremely “tough”, ect. Patterson has a much higher ceiling than Landry ever did, that I’ll agree to.
Sonicsgate: A movie about how the Sonics were stolen from Seattle.
Yep, Landry was that 4th-quarter killer
But who knows? Maybe PPat can become one to. I remember his last quarter vs Detroit last season which was REALLY good.

He is.
I wish he had dunked the ball and Randolph on one of those, though.

Sonicsgate: A movie about how the Sonics were stolen from Seattle.
Is Clyde's go-to comment "He can do that"?
It bothers me.
Ellington likes to shoot halfcourt shots. “He can do that.”
Love eats children for breakfast. “He can do that.”
Clyde Drexler is going to be a good coach at UH. “He can do that.”
Oh wait…

No Clyde, Goran wouldn't be starter in most team on the league.
But that’s only because the PG position is the one with the most good players.
I believe Goran could start on most teams without an all-star caliber PG.
Maybe a bit of homerism.
Sonicsgate: A movie about how the Sonics were stolen from Seattle.
Homerism + beging a Suns fan for the longest time.

I'd rather have Goran than Calderon because Dragic plays D.
And he can run the break better than Chalmers. Miami would be horrifying with Dragic running the break there.
"Each in turn... volunteered his suggestions, his invaluable suggestions."
Depend on Orlando, Jameer has been in a slump lately
But two years ago he was an all-star and he was really good in the last PO.

"Beasley's a prime time scorer"
You remember those games when, like, Von Wafer would go off and he’d look like an all star?
Well, Von had more of a claim to being a “prime time scorer” than Beasley.
you say that, then we trade for him........
then what will we say?
That he's a basically crappy player who can start making a lot of mid range jumpers and look good.
"Each in turn... volunteered his suggestions, his invaluable suggestions."
I'd like someone just to knock the crap out of Beasley
because he’s been occupied by an alien or something.
"Each in turn... volunteered his suggestions, his invaluable suggestions."
Not tonight.
We get about 4 steals taken away from us on touch calls, Lowry gets mugged, nothing.

I honestly doubt that Beasley would shoot 9-13 with no one guarding him most times.

I think the Twolves die out in the 4th
they have a lot of minutes in the last 2 days

He's pretty shitty.

He’s having a great game though.

That last play reminded me of something I read from Rick Reilly today.
Chris Paul was talking about how when he was a rookie that (Insert player here) got him jumping 3 times on a pump and then jumped into him for the foul. Parsons needs to learn that lesson of staying on his feet.

We need to put the ball in the basket and keep the other team from doing the same.

Yes, that's usually how basketball is played.

I hate all those ticky-tacky details.

haha still can't generate offense from this unit. hey're trying hard though
Parsons should have shot that open 3 when he had the chance earlier. could have been 2 in a row
Wow, two teensy non fouls on one play.
Thanks!
That’s not why we’re losing, but it doesn’t help

Every time beasely gets the ball, points are going to get scored. He either makes a shot or gets fouled.

i refuse to accept that Twolves are a good team
i think they’re rocketing: just getting wins agains teams who are ok, not good ones
Wolves fan.
Weren’t not a good team yet. Rubio and Love have us real close, but we don’t have consistent contributors other than those two. Some nights guys step up some nights they don’t, but the injuries we’ve had have made it pretty hard to keep a consistent rotation.
Last week against you guys we had a guard stable of Rubio, Ridnour, Ellington and no one at SF and it’s been like this on and off all year.

Zuckenberg turned down $1 bil offer from yahoo, then they turned down $15 bil from microsoft
Then the best thing that could possibly happen would be that they find evidence of incredible illegal activity at Facebook.

We have had some ugly wins, but this time.. we had a really ugly loss.
Our Rockets MUST play better in their next game.
Not a lot of bright spots tonight
Bud, Lee and Dragic played ok. Defense was terrible tonight. No close outs, no weak side help (other than a little by Dalembert as the game went along), bad outing by the starters (except Martin). The more I watch this team the more it pisses me off. Beat up on the terrible teams, split with the ok teams, lose almost every game to the elite teams. I’m done overreacting for the night.
