Report: Rockets trade for James Harden

Mike DiNovo-US PRESSWIRE

Rockets trade Kevin Martin, Jeremy Lamb, and picks to Thunder for James Harden, others

According to Adrian Wojnarowski, the Rockets have traded Kevin Martin, Jeremy Lamb, and future draft considerations to the Oklahoma City Thunder for James Harden, Cole Aldrich, Daquan Cook, and Lazar Hayward.

This is the trade Morey's been waiting for. Now he will just have to sign Harden to a max deal and try not to give too many good picks to the Thunder.

Here's a link to the Yahoo! article. Looks like the details haven't been completed, but the Rockets have definitely made the trade, and the backcourt of Lin and Harden will be the one we see on opening day.

What do you thing TDS? Glad to see Harden here? Sad to see Lamb and K-Mart gone?

Update: Woj says the Rockets are sending their first round picks from Dallas (the top 20 protected one) and Toronto, which has a weird protection scheme but was almost assuredly a lottery pick eventually.

Update 2: (Woj again) Rockets plan to sign Harden to the 4 year, $60 million deal he was looking for from OKC.
