According to Jonathan Feigen, the Rockets convinced Derek Fisher to decline his player option for 2012-13 in their buyout agreement. As Feigen later notes, the Rockets have essentially acquired a 1st round pick for 20 games of Jordan Hill with this deal. Morey strikes again.
