Those Cunning Rockets!

Stay connected for news and updates

So we recently just loss two games to the Dallas Mavericks. The first one, we got screwed by bad officiating, the second one, it was theirs to keep. I'm not so sure if I see that as a bad thing though. I just checked the standings, it seems like Denver and Utah want to keep it a 3 way tie for the 7th and 8th spot for the playoffs, considering they both just lost as well. But back to the point this original post was attempting to make.

Losing to the Dallas Mavericks serve to boost their record, while we keep ours low enough to hopefully maintain the 8th seed for the playoffs. These two losses serve to propel the Mavericks into having a top 10 record in the league, allowing us to delectably so, feast on their first round pick, which I believe is top 20 protected? (Correct me if I'm wrong, meh I'm probably wrong anyways.)

Okay, so BAM! We get a first round pick from the Mavericks. Good going Rockets you sly devil you. But wait! What's that? We got the 8th seed? Our match up is with the OKC Thunders? That's fine with me. We split the series 2-2, and this will be definitely an interesting match-up that (albeit, the odds are very, very low) may end up in an upset in the good guy's favor.

Holy crap, we can have cake and eat it too! We get a first round pick and have a chance at moving deeper into the playoffs? Damn it Houston Rockets, you're a smooth criminal! (cue music)

(Don't take this post seriously, it's just a more optimistic approach to what the Rockets have done. Seriously, I have no idea what they're planning, but if it was this, maybe someone on the coaching staff is a Jedi or something)

No cursing in title. No pirated material, such as links to online game streams. Do not cut/paste entire sections of content from other websites. Thanks.
