Offseason Plan:Trade up!!!

Stay connected for news and updates

I've been thinking about how we can realistically trade into the top 3 of this drafts, and I've finally come up with a (possibly) realistic idea. If we offer Washington Martin, Scola, Bud and pick 14 or 16(both maybe) for Rashard Lewis and Pick 3 then hopefully we can draft Drummond. I would've put Lowry in that deal, but the Wiz have John Wall, and the salaries wouldn't match if he was in there. With Lowry not in this deal, we're still free to trade him to the Lakers for Gasol like Morey seems to want(meh, no thanks) or to trade him to the Raptors straight up for pick 8. that way we can use the 8th pick on Jeremy Lamb(who alot of people on this site seem to be fond of). Assuming we resign Camby Lee and Dragic and decline Dalembert's option, we go into next year with a line up of:
PG: Dragic/Llull(or Fortson if Llull doesn't come over)
SG: Lee/Lamb
SF:Parsons/Lewis
PF: Motiejunas/Patterson
C: Drummond/Camby

This seems like a cautiously optimistic, yet not totally insane scenario to me. It leaves us with a very young and relatively talented team with a lot of room for players to grow. What do you guys think? Is this plausible? Would you be happy if this was our offseason?
