I'll keep it brief.
Stop this Dwightmare nonsense.
Instead of going after "superstars" why don't we just build a team with the great talent that we ALREADY HAVE, that works hard, plays defense, hustles and plays together and plays to its STRENGTHS. Example given 03-04 Detroit Pistons that defeated the mighty multi-titled LA Lakers that still featured Shaq and Kobe.
We already have great pieces in a great floor leader in Lin, and we now have a tough big man to patrol the paint in Asik. Not to mention the great pieces in between that we have, Lamb, White, Jones, DM, Patterson, Parsons, etc.
The coaching will be the key. We're going to need someone who can take advantage of all the strengths as well as instill a disciplined approach to defense.
I'm a sucker for youth movements and an up-and-coming young team excites me more than the "super teams" and "big-3" B.S. that seems to be the craze now-a-days.
It doesn't take just 3 guys folks. It takes an entire team to make a Championship team.
I just love the pieces in place now in Houston, I just hope they don't make an idiot move of making a play for Dwightmare and all the bad contracts that are going to come with him.
