I know many of you might be like me and wondered are we getting Howard? Who's gonna start this season? Why didn't they draft a Center? Why let go of Dragic? etc etc. I for one am a Morey fan. I thought last year was a competitive one. Without two of our starters for a big chunk of the season minus the meltdown at end of year i thought we were a team that would of been feared in the playoffs since we were so scrappy. Morey is a man with a plan. Not only does he have a plan b, he typically has a plan c, d, e and so forth.
Anyways, my thing is with all this talk of upgrading, trades, free agency the one name that never really comes up is Kevin Martin. Yes the same one who didn't play much last season and whose name mainly pops up when referring to expiring contract or trade piece. I know Lamb "might" be moved; if not why not have both? we all forget Martin is a scoring machine, and with the addition of our rookies (whom all have great talent(potential) and our new pg and Center, I believe we will have nice spacing on the floor. Not forgetting parsons who has worked hard this off season on many aspects of his game. I for one think he will have more of an impact this year especially in scoring that I think this a team that can compete. We all also forget that Martin is only 29! Imagine Lamb and martin on floor and White playing point foward. That might be a little interesting. Lamb got comparisons to Martin before the draft, imagine TWO of them on the court!
Anyways, this is my first post so don't be too hard on me. Long time reader of DS though. I don't think Martin would be too expensive after the year. Would you bring him back, especially at reasonable cost?
